Hi
We are headed to SSR for Christmas this year. That being said, I was wondering if many guest ship packages ahead of time to avoid the security check in with wrapped gifts. I still have younger kids, and Santa is sure to visit us at SSR. I was told not to take wrapped gifts through security or TSA may unwrap them. I am worried about shipping, what if the box gets lost:scared1:
I also do not want to check any gifts, as they are all electronic/cell phones.
If I ship them, do I address it to myself @ SSR.
Thanks for the help
Happy Holidays to everyone

Don't wrap the gifts, pack the wrapping paper and put the gifts in your carry-on.

If you ship, you will put the package in your name. I would also require a signature and let the resort know in advance that you are having a package delivered.

When our son was younger and we were at OKW for Christmas, we left most of his presents at home under the tree (after he left the house). Then when Santa arrived at OKW, he left a note telling our son that since we were on vacation and it might be hard to get all the presents back home. Santa only brought a few of the smaller ones (stocking stuffers and easy to pack in the suitcase) so he would have something to open. As soon as we arrived home, our son ran to the tree and all his larger presents were there. So he had two Christmasses.

We've shipped packages to SSR for our Christmas holiday. Last time I sent three boxes, wrote our last name, check in date on each side of the box, as well as a label such as 1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc.

We were able to retrieve each package without issue upon arrival. This is how Santa was able to figure out our location on Christmas morning. ;)
