Shipping to resort

Has anyone shipped from the Disney store to a resort? We live in Canada, so it would be a lot cheaper to ship directly there. What info do I put for shipping? Resort name, my name and reservation #? I've never done this, so I'm a bit nervous of it not arriving!

There's a stickie in the Disney Resorts forum about shipping to resorts. The only problem you could run into is that some carriers deliver directly to resort and some to a post office facility and you'd have to go and get it.

We did it in 2009 I think. Worked great. Also shipped some Crocs that year.

First year I had a stroller shipped.

Go to the resort board and see what they say for shipping information. Some of the resorts charge a fee (I think only the ones that have conference rooms).

We had amazon ship up some emergency pacis after we lost one. We put our name, the resort address and our room # (we were at the poly). The package was put in our room for us when it arrived.

I paid extra for express delivery for rain gear from Cabelas to Pop last year. The package arrived 10:00AM, we arrived 2:00 PM. The package could not be located. I showed delivery confirmation and gave them the name of the person that signed for it.
And they looked, day 1, still looking day two of rain, still looking as thunder rolled in day three...finally after we got back to the hotel on day four it was in the room.

Oh, I forgot the last year we went I had some books from Amazon shipped to Pop. They weren't there when we arrived and we were moved shortly after arriving at Pop to BC. I let them know that we were expecting a package but it was going to Pop and would they send it over to us at BC.

They put it in our room at BC on the second day. I know they normally don't leave packages in the room.
