Shipping from Resorts/Parks

I'm sure this has been answered before.....can you ship merchandise to your home from the Parks or Resort via mail or FedEx if shipping is paid for? When flying there are items that I don't want to put in my luggage in fear of damage or are too big to carry one (ie artwork). Will they ship from the store or resort (if I have it shipped to the resort)? Is this something they can do at the resort concierge desk? I am looking at doing a quick weekend trip to do some Christmas shopping and wanted to know if this was an option offered by Disney.

You can ship from the store or resort, whichever you prefer . We always ship our stuff home from the resort the night before we check out. We get boxes from the gift shop, pack everything up, then take it to the front desk where they weigh and label it and it's shipped via UPS (not sure if they do FedEx or not, as our's has always been through UPS). Our packages always arrive at home within 2-3 days after we do .

When you purchase the item just ask them to ship to your home. You'll pay the extra to ship to your home when you pay for the item. I shipped ten pairs of graduation Mickey ears to my home when I was in Orlando for business and didn't have the space to put them in my luggage. It wasn't cheap, but I wanted them for my son's graduation.

One thing to remember too, especially for somewhat large and/ or fragile items like a snow globe, you pay for shipping yes, but the cost is actually really reasonable considering they have to pack it well for shipping AND. If you ship directly from the store as you buy, you don't pay taxes. That wipes out some of the shipping costs that would have been paid anyway. Well be using that for SURE again.
