when are there updates/repairs made on the ship?

I read somewere (don't remember were) that the wonder is going into dry dock for a few weeks in October. The Magic went into dry dock last year.

they are always maintaining/fixing/cleaning, but major renovations or changes are made during dry dock.

I remember on our first cruise to Nassau that once we arrived at port literally 100's of people were out and about scraping, sanding, painting all over the ship. Never saw these folks while the ship was at sea, but in every port - out they would come and work like crazy.

Now with the 7 night cruises you see these people out every day doing maintenance on the ship.
