I have taken the Art of the Theme ship tour, but what others are there? I think I've heard of a kitchen tour? Any others I've missed in the Navigator? Thanks!
Well, there's the Walking Ship's Tour. It's an introductory tour (how to get around) that's given on embarkation day. The kitchen tour is hit and miss, you need to ask at Guest Services whether they are doing it on your cruise or not. Usually not. But it does happen sometimes.I have taken the Art of the Theme ship tour, but what others are there? I think I've heard of a kitchen tour? Any others I've missed in the Navigator? Thanks!
We found the galley tour to be quite "underwhelming".
Saw lots of pots and pans and a few notes hanging on the wall about special diets. Saw not a soul working or preparing any food.
The group we were in was so large and the space so limited that from where we were on the tour we couldn't hear a word the tour Chef was saying.
The highlight was a cookie we got at the end.
We learned more about the galley and food service from the video that's available on the room TV.
I never knew there was a kitchen tour. Sounds like fun to do this one. Is this only offered on the Fantasy or on all 4 ships ?
I have had a galley tour on the three ships I have been on.
That's too bad. I'm hoping to try it and perhaps it will be a better experience. Sounds like it may vary.We found the galley tour to be quite "underwhelming".
