Just had my weekly weigh in. Down .6

Two weeks in a row of losses! And now for the topic:
The Four Sure-Fire Rules for Success
These rules can apply to most things you do in life, including weight loss.
1. Show Up
Report in here to all of us, be accountable, start the program if you haven't, continue if you have.
2. Pay Attention
Be aware of the portion sizes, the nutrition (calories, fat, fiber), what you put in your mouth and your attitude. A negative attitude will hurt your chances of success.
3. Ask Questions
Ask servers when you are out to eat how food is prepared, ask for a to go box at the beginning of your meal and box up 1/2, ask to share with another at your table. Don't be afraid to ask questions because it will help you to succeed.
4. Don't Quit
Even if you have a bad day, eating that cheesecake (not one piece, the WHOLE thing!), not working out, not drinking water, not eating right, you need to get back with it. Weight management is a life long job. Even when you get to your goal weight, you can't quit. If you do, you will gain it back (and usually more). Be positive that you won't quit.
Vince Lombardi once said "Winners never quit and quitters never win". Even if we don't make our goal, every little bit is helping -- helping to make you weigh less, helping to make you a healthier person, helping to make you feel better.
On the Biggest Loser this week, at the end of the contest Kelly was not at her goal weight yet, but her attitude was so positive. She was a new person. Even though she did not win the prize, she was still a winner! She lost alot of weight. We can too.
I want to share something with you guys that I haven't mentioned online before. I've been doing WW for a long time and a little more than a year ago I hit a platteau. I started going to the W.I.S.H. board here at the DIS and found some people in my situation and started talking. In the next couple months I got off of my platteau and started to lose again. This past summer I had a set back with injuries, but I'm happy to say at the end of the year I was down a net amount of 4 pounds for the year. Not much, but something. At least I didn't gain. I'm hoping this group will be the inspiration I need to take the last few pounds off and get to my goal weight again. Thank you all for your support and great ideas. Sometimes you just need some new inspiration and new friends to jump start you on the way. I am not going to quit.
