Shhhh ... Hard Rock Hotel Booked!!

Well, I was planning on taking the kids to London this weekend but it was working out really expensive (and difficult) to get a family room in the centre.

So, now instead of going for the weekend we're going for the day and because I've saved all that money I've booked the Hard Rock Hotel for one night in the middle of our trip in May!!!! Well, it sounded like reasonable thinking to me!! And it's actually worked out cheaper staying there than a run of the mill place in London!

I'm so excited and have decided not to tell the kids, so shhhhh, keep quiet about it!! Thought I'd not tell them till we get to the hotel (I'll only need an overnight bag so should be able to hide that easily enough!!). Bryn will be absolutely thrilled, it's his dream hotel!!

Woo hoo - suppose I should start thinking about making some kind of plan now!!

Tyke, you must do it! Its a fantastic place for a honeymoon, even for one night!

Mark & I are spending the first 5 nights of our honeymoon there in May too

Tyke - I phoned the Hotel direct and used my Annual Pass to get a garden view room for $160. I also have an AAA card (which I got free through the AA) and that also gave me a promotional rate but not as low as using my AP. Pool view rooms were $174.
