DD got season 6 of Dr. Who for Christmas. We've blown through nearly every episode already! She saved 2 episodes for us to watch on the plane.

Who is your favorite Doctor? Mine is David Tennant and DD's is Matt Smith. Current favorite quote: "I'm the doctor and you are in the biggest library in the universe. Look me up!" (said with this face)

Perhaps we could work something out..... but a cricut is always a nice gift! Besides, you might need Anna...the tip envelopes were her design this time. I just helped her cut them. (9 year olds and sharp tools....not always a good combination)

I think I'm losing it! All I can think about is our trip....I'm dreaming about our trip....I'm talking about our trip....I'm almost counting the minutes to our trip! I am stalking the internet looking for things for our trip that we really don't need....like new luggage. I'm posting random questions on different threads on the disboards.....Good grief! I need an intervention!!!

A little over 2 weeks to go....well, a little less than 3 weeks to go...I've started putting things in the "packing room." Yes, seriously...I have a "packing room." Before we were married DH built an addition onto the back of the house. The upstairs is just off of our bedroom. It's got windows on 3 sides, built in cabinets along one half-wall with a counter-top....I don't really know what to do with the room. I have a rocking chair in there, and right now I'm storing all the luggage in there since the infamous stinkbug infestation of 2010 (shudder).

So I put a 6 foot folding table in there and I'm laying all my packing items for the trip out on the table.

DH and I are having date night tonight...we are going to the Melting Pot. I've wanted to go there FOREVER and so we are finally going! It's about an hour away. We have a sitter coming at 4:30...I have been cleaning all day and i need to go get a shower.

TMI???

I just found your pre-TR and am a bit sad I have missed it for so long. I am glad I found it in time for your trip and look forward to the rest of the countdown to your very close trip and the TR when you get back.

I love the way you booked your resort and airfare before mentioning it to DH. As soon as 2012 hit I begin planning a mother/daughter trip for Nov. 2013 and a family trip for Feb. 2014. I told DH our plans last week and said they wouldn't be mentioned again until right before the trip. I fully intend to plan both trips without really mentioning them again, after all he did agree. (DH isn't a big Disney fan and doesn't really like going or talking about it)

I love all the gifts you have for your DD. They match each day perfectly

Hi! Yay! A new reader! You have a long time to wait for your trips....it's so hard to wait that long. I drive DH nuts when I'm planning a family trip. He doesn't really care what we do....he just goes with the flow when we're there usually. The first time we went, he tried to direct the traffic once we got there...THAT didn't go over so well! I had done a TON of planning and research and he had never even been ON the disboards! What was he thinking?!?!? He soon learned though!

Well, the intervention didn't happen soon enough....and I got a 30% off coupon in my e-mail this morning....and I just couldn't stand it....the urge to buy a new carry on bag just completely overcame me....and just look what happened!

Anna and I put in our Garden Grocer order today. It's a little over 2 weeks now til our trip!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe how fast time is flying by!

I'm making Mickey shaped pasta for our dinner tonight. My friend brought it back for me as a gift for picking her up at the airport. (That is if there is any left for dinner after my kids get done snacking!)

This afternoon's task: Taxes. (blech!) I have to get them done before our trip. We have to file by March 1 (because of DH being a dairy farmer).

The kids are off of school today (teacher work day) and we are just hanging out at home due to the gross weather. Oh I cannot wait to be in the SUN!!! (even WITH this glaringly white skin!)

I had a voicemail message from fedex yesterday saying that a package was to be delivered today and someone would need to be here to sign for it. What??? DH couldn't remember anything he ordered that would need to be signed for. I couldn't remember anything I had ordered that would need a signature. What was it?

Finally about 2pm, Fedex shows up at my door with an envelope. I said to the delivery guy, "I have no idea what this is...." "Well, it's from Disney Vacation Club...."

Ah yes! My $40 gift card for taking a 10 minute phone tour of DVC! Niiiice!

It felt a little magical today!

"Creativity Heals" is my theme for the day today....for 2 reasons.

1. I'm totally grieving that room only reservations do not warrent cool disney luggage tags. As you recall, it's all Natalie's fault that I even booked this trip since she posted photos of her super cool disney luggage tags months ago. And now I have discovered that I won't be getting any.

2. I'm weaving my two worlds together....therapy and scrapbooking...and am creating a workshop for my scrapbook retreat called "Personal Growth Through Creativity." I'm SO excited about it!

So, here are today's tasks: (and by the way I finished the taxes yesterday! WOOT! )
