Shh! The Kids don't know but.......

Here is the plan:

1. Plan trip to Disney in December of 2009.
2. Pay for said trip.
3. Pay for Airline tix for said trip.
4. Patiently wait for said trip to arrive.
5. On day of said trip, wake the girls up at 4am to head to the airport.
6. Once at airport, annouce to girls that Santa is sending us to Disney.

What mom (that me ) needs to know is how do you pack and prepare to go without the kids seeing you or catching on? I work so I cant prepare while they are at school. So any parent with this experience, would you please share your magic?

This is my plan as well. This time I want to surprise my girls. I am planning a trip early in December. I hope that I can pull it off. I am not one for surprises. LOL
When we went on our last trip my girls didn't even realize that I was packing. I put outfits together in the suitcase months before our trip. I know a little OCD but I was ready well ahead of the day we left.
Last time I woke them up at 6 am for our flights so I will have to wait and see what time our flights out of Boston will be.

well you have about 15 months to do all this - the packing wouldn't get done until just before the trip so I wouldn't worry about it. The paying for it - budget & see how you do. The planning- the kids go to bed sometime- that is when I have my time & I plan anything I want the family to do. And you can't make reservations or anything until closer to the time so again nothing to worry about at this time. Not entirely sure what the issue is.

I used to live in Maple Shade and worked in Camden, across the street from Cooper. Beyond that small area and the waterfront Camden is another world. A very scary world. Pushing it out to sea is not a bad idea.

We are planning a trip to the World in October and still haven't told the kids. We are thinking of doing the whole wake up at the crack of dawn, get your clothes on, we're going to Disney!!!
I definately want to video tape us waking them up and telling them. Oh I can't wait to go!!!
