I wish we could extend to meet up with RC group but DS9 is in the gifted and talented program this year and has begged me to schedule any trips on breaks. He'll miss one day for this trip and I hope that doesn't bite me in the butt!

I hope Sam feels better for tomorrow. My littlest is sick today too. Poor thing was supposed to have oral surgery tomorrow to fix some some teeth she injured in a fall but now they won't take her with a cold and the next available surgery isn't till late November

pas - good call on changing your view and getting money back.

I too am going to have to take a good look at the travel budget after this trip. I'm thinking I may have even blown my summer WDW trip. We may have to ditch getting APs this year and do another summer Busch Gardens Williamsburg/Virginia Beach trip.

Don't burn yourself out for a snack room! It's just not worth it!

Oh, and you should totally come on down and bring the fam. We'll look like this on the balcony but it would be worth it!

I just spoke to my sister. She is improving after her head injury but she told me they put her on a psych hold because they thought she threw herself down the stairs on purpose? I need to get down there to see her to figure out what the heck is going on.

Sarah - sorry you are having a rough start to the clinical trial. Have you always done the oral pills? My good friend is currently going through chemo and one of her regimens was oral combined with infusions. She had a really hard time with the oral ones.

I have a picture of all of us in our Halloween costumes in my dining report. I will post it here when photobucket stops giving me fits. Is anyone else havign this problem? It keeps locking up my computer.

Shiela - Akershus was one of the only breakfasts that I didn't love. I thought it was much more limited than the breakfasts buffets. Probably because I don't eat scrambled eggs so I like when there are more egg choices available. The Princesses are great though!

Pas - you are going to LOVE POR (if you actually stay there that is). We loved it and that was before the refurb. The grounds are gorgeous!!!

Marie - those 2 bedrooms are out of our budget too. The fact that the five of us need a 2 bedroom most places is one of the reasons I have stayed away from DVC. Although, the washer and dryer would be nice!

Janet - I think pas SHOULD but you in charge of her reservation. Wouldn't that be hysterical. Tell her to just keep trying to check in til she finds the place where you booked her????

IHTM - Can't wait to hear what you think about the Dolphin. After contemplating prices for our couples trip, I think I can probably get the best deal from Swan or Dolphin with my Starwood points. I love your plans by the way for NYE. I wish I was going!

I'm cautiously optimistic about the Dolphin. I did just read they have double beds After getting a King bed at home I feel squished in a queen with my DH and my not so little anymore bed hogging princess. I may bring an aero bed for DH Those fireworks better be worth it!

We will be forced into a 2 bedroom next year and will only be traveling in high season for the foreseable future. I guess I would only need about 600-800 points or so for two annual trips! No DVC for us!

Miss and Pas ... thanks for the well wishes for Sam ... she really wanted to go to school today (and she was serious!) but tomorrow with tests AND the Halloween party (she's part of the Honors Society and they are putting on the dance) it made sense to keep her home.

Hope she's taking the time to rest up!

EXTEND!! Miss, you haven't told them about keeping the ressie so tell them in one swoop ... "we going in January and staying longer" really it makes more sense $$ wise for a longer trip, right? Disney math, remember ..."the longer you stay, the less you pay"!

i hear the mouse, you have my head spinning over where you are staying. Did I see a night at the RPC? We stayed there one week a number of years ago, it was a magical upgrade from a GV non CL room. It was amazing! Miss and I will stalk you and find you Good luck with your sister, glad to hear she is feeling better. Sorry your little one is sick and can't have the oral surgery. I know with stuff like that with kids you are prepared for it and then when it gets postponed you have to gear up again.

Grumpy Grandma, I so hope we get to me your GS in January. Sounds like you were able to get some great one on one time with him Now then, FYI, due to bad weather in the NE I have on two separate occasions extended my trip at WDW by a day for better flying weather. Worse things can happen if you had to stay, just sayin

Thank you to everyone for your support and kind wishes. I am adjusting to the medicine and being a home body (except for doctor visits). It's a small price to pay if we can get these drugs to work!

Okay ladies going to try to catch up, maybe the last one for a few days. Surgery is a go for tomorrow morning. Because it is so early in the morning and outpatient, I told my mom not to drive down in this weather. The kids will literally sleep for most of the time we are gone and my older DS will be here and know that he has to get up with them.

i_heart - yeah I am a bit worried that we will get bored at CR, although my kids are really park fanatics and dont like to spend a ton of time at the resort. I think our Dec trip will be fine and a great home base for seeing all the decoration at the parks and resorts! Feb may be a different story We were standing on the observation deck last weekend and DS stood right under the monorail track as a monorail was going by and got the biggest kick out it! It is the little things that amuse them, LOL! Oh and you changed again Will this one stick?? OH MY with your sister, sounds like you need to hurry down there and figure out what is going on.

Jenna - I hope you figured out what was going with the Dolphin. We had that once when I booked a package through AmEx travel and paid it in full, but the hotel still charged us again, ugh

Ginny – YAY on YC/CL!!! Perfect way to end a perfect vacation and wedding!

Candace –OH how I miss the Aquarium!!! Used to be one of my favorite places as a kid, well that and the Children’s Museum! I am sure whatever you do, DD will be thrilled! And no Poly, stick with BC, you will be happy you did!!!!

Joanne – yeah we do a pretty good job keeping track with each other but there are definitely times I can’t keep up either.

Miss – LOVE the doggy costume!!! Oh and LOL with the nurse comment, you could have lied and least said you were wearing a nurse costume

Jen – it is a little late in the season for a hurricane but it is still within the season. We wont get much of it, just lots of wind and rain, it’s the north that looks like they could be having a problem.

Linda – I think by Friday night our weather should be clearing and your flight will probably take off, sorry I am so happy you had such a great day with your grandson, when I saw that on FB I got such a warm feeling and smile on my face

Jeanette – Glad POR seems to be sticking! I wasn’t going to have a drink last night but after the whole storm situation I was freaking and DH looked at me and said “you NEED a drink” LOL! I said I read I shouldn’t have alcohol 48hours prior, but the dr’s sheet said no limitations. We figured I am only really being sedated then getting a local, so a drink was probably ok, glad you give a thumps up to it Tonight I will just take some Ativan to help me get some sleep before my early morning (nurse already ok’d that one for me).

Basketlacey – oh goody, I cant wait to read your dining review!!!! I was having a hard time with photobucket, so switched back to Flickr and having a much easier time.

I had JUST come to accept it and wham, no surgery . Oh well, the silver lining is that I can now go over to see the boys get dressed up and do their Halloween parade at school

I need to get through this day, and then bright and early tomorrow morning I leave for GIRLS WEEKEND up in North Conway!!!! I am so excited! We've got a weekend of shopping, eating, drinking....you know, girl stuff. It's gonna be fun!

I will probably be off-line over the weekend though, the reception up there is sketchy at best, and I'm not sure if the townhouse we are renting has wi-fi...so I'll be around today, but if I don't chat with some of you - Have an awesome weekend!!!

I am actually planning August around the AP (expires Aug 10th) But I will have gotten 5 trips outta them so well worth it

Thank you to everyone for your support and kind wishes. I am adjusting to the medicine and being a home body (except for doctor visits). It's a small price to pay if we can get these drugs to work!

Surgery is a go for tomorrow morning. Because it is so early in the morning and outpatient, I told my mom not to drive down in this weather. The kids will literally sleep for most of the time we are gone and my older DS will be here and know that he has to get up with them.

Jeanette – Glad POR seems to be sticking! I wasn’t going to have a drink last night but after the whole storm situation I was freaking and DH looked at me and said “you NEED a drink” LOL! I said I read I shouldn’t have alcohol 48hours prior, but the dr’s sheet said no limitations. We figured I am only really being sedated then getting a local, so a drink was probably ok, glad you give a thumps up to it Tonight I will just take some Ativan to help me get some sleep before my early morning (nurse already ok’d that one for me).

Melissa , I hope you are awakening from your twilight as we speak. And that recovery is not too painful GLAD you had the wine (and Ativan last night) EVERYONE should have something to relax the night before surgery!!!! We will miss you! Speedy recovery!!!

Happy Friday My Friends!!!

No RC's to report here, holding steady at the Beach Club. I'm at work right now, hoping that Melissa does ok with her surgery today!!!

I need to get through this day, and then bright and early tomorrow morning I leave for GIRLS WEEKEND up in North Conway!!!! I am so excited! We've got a weekend of shopping, eating, drinking....you know, girl stuff. It's gonna be fun!

I will probably be off-line over the weekend though, the reception up there is sketchy at best, and I'm not sure if the townhouse we are renting has wi-fi...so I'll be around today, but if I don't chat with some of you - Have an awesome weekend!!!

MM... have a fabulous time at your girls getaway!! Hope Frankenstorm is not an issue for you.
