Halloweens are getting crazy around these parts I tell ya! Last year was the monster Blizzard that dumped 2 feet of snow and took out all of the trees in my neighborhood, and this year we've got a hurricane/Nor'Easter super duper combo coming...

It was 75 yesterday, high today of 50. Can't complain, I enjoyed having the windows open one more time before real winter arrives soon.

Thanks Ginny She went to school today ... Halloween dance tonight (she is in charge of food .... no King cupcakes on the menu BUT plenty of cupcakes, cookies, popcorn (made a batch of monster munch - popcorn, m&m's, candy corn, peanuts, all drizzled with white chocolate!!). Course we have many people donating food too!!

BTW... nice weather for Michigan! We are battling down the hatches for Frankenstorm!

Janet, sorry to hear Sam is under the weather. Hope she feels better and is able to go to the Halloween Dance tomorrow!

She is Sarah, thanks! (Dance tonight, but missing her last football band game performance ) ... it came down to either the football game or dance and since she is an officer in NJHS and the dance is run by the Honors Society, it was really a no brainer.

Thank you to everyone for your support and kind wishes. I am adjusting to the medicine and being a home body (except for doctor visits). It's a small price to pay if we can get these drugs to work!

And we absolutely want those drugs to work! Sarah, good to hear you are adjusting; you know there is a lot of postitive thought and prayers for you that this trial is the one! Pas and I can gate crash when you are ready with pizza & chocolate!!

This weekend, while I am away, he will be working on importing all of the information into a beautiful, color coordinated, laminated masterpeice as he does every year.

sjs, I agree with the others, keep Akerhaus at this point. You can always cancel when you get closer. Although room service your last morning sounds wonderful also.

Well, it looks like we are back to August! Daniel's school requires 90% attendance to pass the 3rd grade. I don't want to take any chances of him failing. Well, August is cheaper...which means we can go longer!

Jungle Cruiser: I'm worried that a potential power outage might affect your treatment. Are you still on the every other week regimen? I hope so so that next week is an OFF week.

Hi ladies

Just got in from DD6 field trip, it was a chilly one! I feel so much better after seeing the class in action, she was upset the other morning telling me she "had no friends this year". But, on the trip she was either holding hands with, or hugging or braiding multiple girls hair all through the day. Phew...I guess she was just exaggerating.

Anyhoo, Melissa: glad to hear you are back at home, hopefully not in too much pain.

Miss: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! How many years?? Yay for a adults only afternoon.

Pas: We feel pretty settled about POR too, it just feels right for a shorter trip. We did realize at the Poly that we were not in that room very much at all!

JanetB: Hi!! Your DD sounds like one busy girl! Glad she is feeling better.

Sjs: We only have had dinner at Akershus, but it was yummy! Maybe you should hold onto the reservation until you decide later?

Sarah So glad to hear the doctors are happy so far with things, please take it easy.

Candace: I am super jealous of your girls weekend! Do you have room for one more friend???

DH is playing a show tonight with his band, so I am solo. I am sure I will be checking in later!
