Hi ladies

Just got in from DD6 field trip, it was a chilly one! I feel so much better after seeing the class in action, she was upset the other morning telling me she "had no friends this year". But, on the trip she was either holding hands with, or hugging or braiding multiple girls hair all through the day. Phew...I guess she was just exaggerating.

DH is playing a show tonight with his band, so I am solo. I am sure I will be checking in later!

Yep, the crazies are in NoVA, too DetTigsGal. In fact, they just declared a state of emergency here and in MD. Looks like the last week of the 1st quarter and October is going to be memorable

Jungle Cruiser: I'm worried that a potential power outage might affect your treatment. Are you still on the every other week regimen? I hope so so that next week is an OFF week.

Jeanette: Do you have to work the days the Snor'eastercane (my new favorite word) is due to hit NJ?

Thanks for thinking about me KOOK! This clinicial trail is actually daily pills at home, so after I get through next week, I don't have to go to CINJ very often (assuming no problems). My last two critical appointments are this coming Monday and Tuesday, who knows what will happen, they may close and have to regroup. However the Jungle Cruisers are prepared for the "Snor'eastercane" (nice word!). After a flooded basement a few years ago due to heavy rains melting mounds of snow, we have a sump pump, and a two big generators that run on propane that last almost 6 days. No kids at home means we don't have the generator run the whole house, just the well (so we have water!), the sump pump, the kitchen, the den and the master bedroom. I am going to make a crockpot of soup tomorrow, we have fresh bread, plenty to eat. It's all good. Nothing we can do but ride it out!

I hope everyone is in good shape and ready for the beast. Two years in a row the weekend before Halloween, kind of weird!

However, let's hope our Linda got out last night, that Melissa is feeling better and that pas isn't working all weekend!

I'm off tomorrow night at 6pm (working a 24 hours run now at transport) I had class today so I am off to nap soon...hopefully..but I had to check in with my RC peeps first.

NJ declared a State of Emergency too...HRH is very upset her trick or treating may be postponed. Our house is all ready for the Snoreastercane (LOVE THAT KOOKAFRAGILISTIC) Stay safe!!!! The OEM said Sandy is on track for a direct hit onto Jersey We are inland a little bit so hope we will be OK

Spent way too much $$ yesterday but got some great deals!!! And even started my Christmas shopping!!

Would you believe that I got both my mom and grandmother Coach purses (big ones, nice ones)??? Normal price of each was $328/each....but they were on sale for $69/each!!!! Couldn't pass that up!

Well DD is saying she definitely doesn't want to have her birthday at Disney She said she wants to have a party with all her friends like she did last year. I'm not going to cancel YC yet, but I looked at the calendar and I don't know that I'm actually going to rebook for a different date. It makes me sad knowing that our February trip will be our last for a while and i wont get to meet Candace and her family! The spring rates are just so much higher than the fall and beginning of the year, maybe if I get a good bounce back offer or PIN I'll rebook for the spring. I need something to plan!!!!!

I would be responsible for the transport of the critical patients, from ICU and the monitored floors. They would go to the closest hospital with available beds out of the flood zone...But it would be back to back busy. So far, they haven't made that call. I am not back at the ER luckily until Saturday, last storm we were packed with people who lost power

I am not stressing about whether I can get to CINJ tomorrow, it is what it is. I suspect they may not open. NYC is shutting down all public transportation at 7 PM tonight and I suspect NJ isn't far behind. People just won't be able to get there. I will get a call if they close with a new plan, so I am just going to not worry and go with the flow. Not getting there won't make me sick, just mess up the trial. Nothing to do, but watch the weather
