Muffycat[/B]!! :goodvibes Seem to remember drinking in another post by you... is there a trend here? :rotfl2:

It's all good!! I have a DS who turned 21 this year too :)

Miss - I literally laughed out loud at that photo! So awesome! :cool1:

Muffycat - Don't worry. I am almost always behind. It's very hard to keep up! Also, I have to admit, the alcohol is a good part of our CL addiction. we don't really drink at home, but we make up for it on vacation :drinking1 :rotfl:[/QUOTE]

For sure we make up for it on vacations. i hardly never drink at home. I didn't start drinking until I went away with friends from DIS. :rotfl:
Now that's all I seem to do now- with a ride and attraction in between
. ;)

It's very pretty around there. :goodvibes

We don't need to stay though...we are only a 45-50 minute ride into the city. ::yes::

My girls love walking over to Faneuil Hall afterwards and just people watching....all while eating a giant cookie from the cookie place down there!!!

we went to Boston the last 2 Easter weekends. Loved the area! We stayed at the Pudentialial Center. Those without kids the Sam Adams Brewery is great.. There I go bringing up liquor again. :rolleyes1

Hiya Janet! :wave2: Thanks for the birthday wishes. At your request, one very not-amused dog:

:teeth:

OMG That is so cute!! :goodvibes

sarah hope you are feeling better. Lots of positive thoughts and hugs coming your way. You are one strong amazing lady! :flower3:

melissa hope this storm doesn't mess with your surgery. I am suppose to leave on Friday evening .... maybe it could mess with my flight??? A girl can dream .... can't she??? :rotfl2:

So I had the most wonderful day. My ap expired yesterday but my grandson used his amazing magical CM powers to get me in. First a wonderful breakfast at Kona Cate, then lots of talking and laughing and just plain catching up, finished up the evening with a sandwich from EoS. One happy grandma here! :goodvibes

What a special grandson! Sounds like a great day. Love Kona!

I tried double quoting but missed. so good morning all. :)

Oops, I did it again. :jumping1:

A RPC TPV room popped up online for 12/30 so I grabbed it in a hot second pixiedust:. When I call CRO to cancel CR in the morning I'll probably just extend my BC CL stay back to 5 nights and keep it a 3 way split. It will be easier for Sarah and Miss to track me down that way anyway :rolleyes1

So now we will be...
12/30 - RPC TPV
12/31-1/2 Dolphin
1/2-1/7 - BC CL

That sounds like a great trip and one day I'm going to do it!
The heck with NYE in Times Square , I'd rather go to Disney World!

Happy Thursday Everybody,

MM, Your birthday plans for your daughter sound wonderful. :cool1:You have some great places to visit in Boston. Lucky girls!!! My kids still think it’s hilarious that for nearly every year of my grade school education we had only one field trip. Where did we go? Why, to the Agricultural Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs KS. The big exhibits there were lots of tractors and walls that were filled with examples of different types of barbed wire. Seriously!

Missout, The doggy plane outfit was hysterical. Hubster was an AF pilot (back in the olden days  ), so I had to show him the thread. He and I both thought it was just too funny! Your dog is a good sport. :cool1:

Jenny,
Great dining plans! We’ve never done Hoop De Doo either, but it sure sounds like fun. :cheer2:

Marie, I hear really good things about the accommodation at Kidani. Another benefit is Saana. Yum! I had such fun visiting with you, Lacey, Deena and your friend. I am so glad we had a chance to meet. It’s a happy memory from my trip. :goodvibes

Janet, Missout, I am trying to manage migraines better. I don’t want to have to go to stronger meds, so I was encouraged to consider yoga and some relaxation techniques. I am working on this.

SJS314,
Thanks for the info on Askerhaus breakfast. That sounds like something we’d enjoy. I’ll keep it in mind for future trips.:thumbsup2

Magic, Melissa, Deena, and any other Florida peeps I missed, I hope the tropical weather heads away from Florida. (Actually it would be best if it just headed east, out to sea…) Fingers crossed. :goodvibes

GG
, Glad you had a delightful day!:dance3:

I heart, Lucky you! Your new three way split will be a great vacation. :cool1

I mailed a box to the Beach Club yesterday! Won't be long now!! :yay: Our weather has been unseasonably warm, 74 yesterday, 76 today! :dance3: We're due for a big cold snap this weekend. Winter has to come to Michigan eventually, I guess.

Hi to Muffycat, Kook, JC, Dettigsgal, Pas, Padawans, Dani, and Minnie. Waving to RC friends I missed, hope you all have a great Thursday!

I really think POR will be our Feb 2014 resort! I can't wait to hear your review as well as Jen's!!!!

Thanks Candace! I can't wait to check the place out in person!!!

Pas,
You will have a great time at POR. I really like Boatwrights, too! One of those restaurants you don't hear a lot about, but is yummy!:thumbsup2

I made my last change today. I tried to stay strong and not give in to the temptations of an RCer. As of today, we are booked for our last day, YC/CL. They had a standard room with great discount. That darn pool combined with the snack room.....

I ALWAYS approve of the addition of the snack room :thumbsup2

Last change, eh....famous last words of an RCer...

I am so thankful for all the RC love for POR...getting me SO jazzed..

19 days!!!!!!!
Let me just chime in on POR (again!)... it's a really gorgeous resort! We had zero issues with transportation to boot. The boats to DTD were fun and plentiful... and the walk to/fro FQ was quite pleasant. The only thing I didn't care for at POR was the lacking front desk staff, though this might have been due to our late arrival. We were in Parterre Place overlooking the quiet pool on the top floor. It was a great location for getting to the main building... not far at all.

Thanks Miss...the resort looks so big. But sounds like an easy walk to the Main building and 1st bus stop!!

PAS Those 2 bedrooms look beautiful, I wish I could afford that, but sadly....I think it might be out of our price range. I don't know about the 1 BDRM at Jambo, I prefer the look and layout more of Kidani's 1 BDRM, plus there are 2 bathrooms and that king bed in the master. Also, Kidani is supposed to have a better slide for older kids....I am being pulled towards Kidani, even without the snack room! LOL ..... just a better excuse to try Deluxe Dining for one trip! The more I read about and look at Kidani, I am falling in love.....plus I can't beat first pick up and first drop off with the buses! That was always a small pet peeve with staying at Jambo house -- having to do the Kidani loop even though you come to Jambo turn off FIRST!! ....oh well, what once was a pet peeve will be greatly embraced when it's me getting dropped off first
Kidani was great!!! You won't be disappointed. The pool bar is awesome there too..:flower3::flower3:

So glad you're back into hardcore planning mode!!!
Agreed!! Marie was missed!!! Hope Dani is back soon too..I know my sis is busy...but a May trip means planning is near!!!!

Sarah, have only been thinking positive thoughts and best wishes for this trial...hopefully today goes as well as yesterday ... you are amazing as our dear Pas stated ...

Pas My ying friend  POR RR is still sticking, right?? It's perfect so don't mess with perfection!! LET ME CONTROL YOUR RESSIE!! :goodvibes

My Yang...yes still at POR!!! I got a call from WDW yesterday...no voice mail, but I think it was maybe for FLE AP preview...which now has our dates included :cool1:

I would totally let you take the ressie..but as you know I would harrass you constantly (more than I do now)

More :grouphug: for Precious Sarah

I'm still marveled how you all follow every post.

I think my ADD sets in after reading 2.

.
:lmao: That's why I can't multiquote from my cell. I can't open multiple windows and refresh my thoughts...ADD and OCD are required for this thread I think :rotfl:

Quick question for my nurse friends: can I have wine 2 nights before surgery?
Sorry I am late (way late) You can have wine up to 24 hours before anesthesia...if it were me..up to the night before (to calm my nerves~not necessarily recommended though)

At your request, one very not-amused dog:
:lmao:

Miss - I literally laughed out loud at that photo! So awesome!
Me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just want to say right now, those of you with trick or treaters, if you are comfortable post photos of them in their ensembles I know I would love to see them!

pas, I assume you aren't multitasking and RCing for your trip in January as well as the one in November.
 I will post pics!!!!! Hoping that humungous storm doesn't hit Wednesday as they are predicting...poor kiddos still recovering from last Halloween's storm...

Many prayers for you my dear for this lastest round of meds :flower3:

I've been doing August ch-ch-changes..just to drive DH batty..but as least I am leaving November alone, right????

I think Jeanette, Candace and you need to start using flowcharts. We can't keep up. :joker: Looking forward to our meet-up, indeed.

As long as it's on a dry erase board...I need to be environmentally friendly

Ladies I am falling apart! Hurricane Sandy developed out if no where and my kids schools have already called a half day tomorrow and no school Friday. I need to call the surgical center in the morning and find out what their storm procedures are. I honestly can't handle another week of this emotional roller coaster and being so uncomfortable. I guess the one good thing is that we made it to Disney last weekend
I hope it doesn't affect your procedure tomorrow Melissa

Some storm they are predicting hitting the whole East Coast :scared:
So I had the most wonderful day. My ap expired yesterday but my grandson used his amazing magical CM powers to get me in. First a wonderful breakfast at Kona Cate, then lots of talking and laughing and just plain catching up, finished up the evening with a sandwich from EoS. One happy grandma here! :goodvibes

Oops, I did it again. :jumping1:

Heck yeah, me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dis daughter my flight is scheduled for Friday 6pm but I was thinking that since you princess: and the little princesses. princess:princess:princess: will be here in just 19 days I'll just wait for you!!! :rotfl2:

I'm good with that Mama  then I don't need to worry about you getting stuck at the airport :sad1:

Good morning, ladies! :wave2:

I really hope things work out for you for tomorrow, Melissa. Got to be so frustrating. :sad2: Thinking of ya.

Also, a big  to our super-woman, Sarah.

Ha ha! I just showed the DD's Miss M's doggie all dressed up and they loved it! Thanks for bringing a smile to everyone's face!

Aw, my pleasure. Glad they enjoyed it! :goodvibes Tell them Miss M said "Hi!"

melissa hope this storm doesn't mess with your surgery. I am suppose to leave on Friday evening .... maybe it could mess with my flight??? A girl can dream .... can't she???

Just stay on through New Years and we can all meet up! :rolleyes1 You really, seriously have me wanting to try this holiday sandwich. It reminds me almost exactly of a turkey sandwich we used to get in Scotland (except it had a cranberry chutney on it) -- so very yummy. I checked and they're serving it through Jan. 6th! :rotfl: Going to have to make a stop in DTD for sure.

Oops, I did it again.

Thanks for making it easy on us. :lmao:

OMG That is so cute!! :goodvibes

Thanks! She didn't want anything to do with me all day yesterday... wonder if the plane humiliation had anything to do with it? :rolleyes1

Missout, The doggy plane outfit was hysterical. Hubster was an AF pilot (back in the olden days  ), so I had to show him the thread. He and I both thought it was just too funny! Your dog is a good sport. :cool1:

:joker: The little propeller hat is her least favourite part (but the most hilarious part, by far.)

Janet, Missout, I am trying to manage migraines better. I don’t want to have to go to stronger meds, so I was encouraged to consider yoga and some relaxation techniques. I am working on this.

 I totally understand. Hope you're able to find something that helps. (I never really understood what a migraine was -- until I had my first one at age 25 and all the talk of how horrible they were immediately made sense. :scared: )

I mailed a box to the Beach Club yesterday! Won't be long now!! :yay: Our weather has been unseasonably warm, 74 yesterday, 76 today! :dance3: We're due for a big cold snap this weekend. Winter has to come to Michigan eventually, I guess.

:woohoo: Getting. so. close! Do you happen to have some extra empty luggage sitting about? Human-sized luggage? :rolleyes1 80 here today, isn't it crazy?! We've got the windows open.

Thanks Miss...the resort looks so big. But sounds like an easy walk to the Main building and 1st bus stop!!

Yep, that's the best part about either of the Royal Room buildings -- just a nice walk back to the main building and right on over to the bus stop. Although, the East Depot might be just as close depending on which building/room you're in. (We just walked over to the main stop.) It is such a gorgeous resort, especially at night.

As long as it's on a dry erase board...I need to be environmentally friendly

:rotfl2: Yeah, that is a much better idea! Trees would be saved by the acres.

So, I did make another change...but just change my room category. Dropped the River view for a standard view. It's cheaper, and since there is no balcony..I don't care about the view :duck: I only booked River view since it was the only Royal Room available...I like to get money coming back :cool1::cool1:

:thumbsup2 Money back is a wonderful thing. Makes total sense about the views. We kept our shades shut when we were in the room -- which wasn't much time at all, thinking back. I think we had originally booked a garden view -- because standard wasn't available -- which must have been "upgraded" to a water view (of the quiet pool).

Happy Thursday Peeps!! :cool1: My Sam is home today with a cold :sad2: Halloween Dance is tomorrow night so hope she feels better by then.

Melissa, hoping that your surgery can go off as planned ... fingers crossed.

Hi Janet :wave2: Too bad we'll just miss seeing you. So close!

Seriously if I didn't live so far, I come for the weekend to meet you all! :)

A rocky start to day one of my clinical trial, but day two they gave me pre meds before the trial drugs (I take daily pills, not infusion) which put me in lala land (it's a wonderful place :goodvibes) and has gotten me through the past couple days! Now that I have beaten the pneumonia, I am getting back on track :goodvibes

Sarah, our amazing warrior! Once you are feeling up to it, Pas and I are taking you out!! :goodvibes (and thanks Sarah, feeling much better, it's good to be back posting :))

Hiya Janet! :wave2: Thanks for the birthday wishes. At your request, one very not-amused dog:

Miss: Your pup looks thrilled :rotfl2:... the pix reminds me of Snoopy & the Red Barron!!

Linda... your grandson sounds like a keeper :thumbsup2 ...so happy you got to spend time with him!!

And a big YES, to meeting your DGS in January!! :cool1:

A RPC TPV room popped up online for 12/30 so I grabbed it in a hot second pixiedust:. When I call CRO to cancel CR in the morning I'll probably just extend my BC CL stay back to 5 nights and keep it a 3 way split. It will be easier for Sarah and Miss to track me down that way anyway :rolleyes1

For sure we make up for it on vacations. i hardly never drink at home. I didn't start drinking until I went away with friends from DIS. :rotfl:
Now that's all I seem to do now- with a ride and attraction in between

Drink, ride, drink, ride ... I like it, it has a certain ring to it :goodvibes ... RCers does this sound like a plan for January? :upsidedow

Happy Thursday Everybody,

Janet, Missout, I am trying to manage migraines better. I don’t want to have to go to stronger meds, so I was encouraged to consider yoga and some relaxation techniques. I am working on this.

Ginny, that sounds like a good plan, DD and I have been considering joining a Yoga class at the YMCA. Really hope it helps relieve your pain.

My Yang...yes still at POR!!! I got a call from WDW yesterday...no voice mail, but I think it was maybe for FLE AP preview...which now has our dates included :cool1:

I would totally let you take the ressie..but as you know I would harrass you constantly (more than I do now)

:yay: still at POR!! It's all good... fantasy land expansion :thumbsup2...no problem on taking the ressie ... my ying never harrasses me...:goodvibes

So, I did make another change...but just change my room category. Dropped the River view for a standard view. It's cheaper, and since there is no balcony..I don't care about the view :duck: I only booked River view since it was the only Royal Room available...I like to get money coming back :cool1::cool1:

:dance3: The Yang factor is having an effect!! Really DH won't know this new Pas!! love ya!!

Happy Thursday Peeps!! :cool1: My Sam is home today with a cold :sad2: Halloween Dance is tomorrow night so hope she feels better by then.

Aw, poor Sam. Sending get-well wishes her way.

Drink, ride, drink, ride ... I like it, it has a certain ring to it :goodvibes ... RCers does this sound like a plan for January? :upsidedow

Annnnnd, the RC trip should be moved earlier in January! :joker: Or should I_Heart and I just extend our trips? :scratchin

Still haven't told anyone in my family about keeping the Jan. reservation. Not sure I will... I'm bad.

My thoughts exactly. We have lots of exploring planned :goodvibes

We are totally taking Sarah out!!!Or renting a DVD and ordering pizza and crashing her house :lmao:

Hmmm if I am off 12/30...I could make fireworks at GF...(IHTM I will sleep in the closet!!!!Or balcony :flower3:

Hope Sam feels better pronto

:yay: still at POR!! It's all good... fantasy land expansion :thumbsup2...no problem on taking the ressie ... my ying never harrasses me...:goodvibes

:dance3: The Yang factor is having an effect!! Really DH won't know this new Pas!! love ya!!
:lmao:

I have started (yes just started) to come to the realization that if I want to continue to take vacations I have to budget a bit (gulp)

DH and the kiddos miss me. And I miss them, which means some cutting back on my crazy hours...so my Disney Math is now calculated in hours worked..which makes it a little easier to avoid an upgrade to say ...ahem club level :rolleyes1

But, deep down...I know its cuz your Yang is balancing my Ying :flower3:

It's Thursday?!?!?!?!?!

Miss and Pas ... thanks for the well wishes for Sam ... she really wanted to go to school today (and she was serious!) but tomorrow with tests AND the Halloween party (she's part of the Honors Society and they are putting on the dance) it made sense to keep her home.

Annnnnd, the RC trip should be moved earlier in January! :joker: Or should I_Heart and I just extend our trips? :scratchin

Still haven't told anyone in my family about keeping the Jan. reservation. Not sure I will... I'm bad.

EXTEND!! ::yes:: Miss, you haven't told them about keeping the ressie so tell them in one swoop ... "we going in January and staying longer" really it makes more sense $$ wise for a longer trip, right? Disney math, remember ..."the longer you stay, the less you pay"! :rotfl2:

We are totally taking Sarah out!!!Or renting a DVD and ordering pizza and crashing her house :lmao:

That's a good idea!! WE will come to YOU, Sarah!! :yay:

Hmmm if I am off 12/30...I could make fireworks at GF...(IHTM I will sleep in the closet!!!!Or balcony :flower3:

Sorry IHTM .. I gave our Pas an idea ...

I have started (yes just started) to come to the realization that if I want to continue to take vacations I have to budget a bit (gulp)

Pas, you work so hard, happy to hear you will start cutting back on 60 hr weeks ... kiddos grow up too fast

But, deep down...I know its cuz your Yang is balancing my Ying :flower3:

We make a great team :flower3:
