Disney had a glitch and the system did not ask for a CC - it is required for BOG and Disney will cancel any BOG ADR without a CC by midnight tonight!

I am back on the phone...so far made the ADR again with the automated system, now waiting for an agent...20 min and counting...it would be more enjoyable without the ads!

Yeah I am tying to do the same thing after seeing that on the boards. Ugh, now I can't get through

One of my TA friends posted on FB, so hoping others saw that too. Glad it is being posted on the Boards as well.

I was able to get through pretty quickly on the 407-939-7429. Very nice agent...but Disney's automated system is still not taking a CC so there will be a whole lot of unhappy guests today and tomorrow.

Hi RCers. I am home from a wonderful WDW trip. Our Poly stay was very nice. We had a nice Tuvalu 3rd floor room (3406) with a great Castle view. Yes the rooms show a little wear but it was easily overlooked, especially knowing this was our last visit for this "look" of room decor. ...Crowds were all over the board, sometimes light, sometimes heavy. We enjoyed the parks and took advantage of 2 EMH's (MK and DHS) for the first time. We enjoyed our ADRs, with ViaNapoli, Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream, the Poly Cabana, and Spirit of Aloha being new activies for us this trip. The cabana was lots of fun, we'd do that again in a heartbeat. The only lowlight was that we did Spirit of Aloha for the first time and I was actually underwhelmed (don't shoot, Aloha lovers ). I'm very glad I finally did it, but I won't be going back any time soon. Comparing to the Hoop dinner show, it just didn't hold my interest like Hoop and the food IMO is also much lower in quality and variety compared to Hoop. Speaking of Hoop: Last year's hubub about Hoop closing was ... rumor... the server at Trail's end said it is killing them over there because everyone thinks Hoop is closed. The line for Hoop was dismal and Trails' End was empty Thursday night. Sad Sad.

So now our newest 2012-2013 resort plans are: BWI for November and CR Dxl for March, and Poly refurb for August 2013. Sept hasn't changed for one night at WL.

It has taken a couple of days to process but we got as good of news as we could have hoped for. Some nodules grew a tiny bit (we are talking millimeters) and others shrunk. Nothing has spread to any other locations. I did not get treated this week, I have 3 bad fingers now (very inflamed and cracked) and a bad rash around my lips. This is all from the drug I am currently getting. He wants to give me a chance to heal. In the meantime he is gathering information, we will talk on Thursday and go from there. WDW trips aren't even in question, as he said "we treat you in order to take vacations, not to take them away". My kind of thinking. ......Some WDW business to attend to today. Renew AP's and book my flights for January!!! Those are my kind of chores.

Oh, I am so glad the news was good, and hopes for speedy resolve of the side effects. I love your Dis business, now that's the good kind of business.

I'm having an MRI done in a couple weeks. Should I call the ordering physician and tell them about it or try to deal with it by calming myself down?

Hi Miss, I didn't know what the "big deal" was until I had my first closed MRI about six years ago. Now I do. I will not have another closed MRI and will ask for open MRI next time around. The doc's meds should be a big help.

Thanks! Yes, the storms were bad but thankfully occurred at opportune times and we weren't left stranded in the rain. We had some rain at about noontime on Fri cabana day, but they extended our 10-2 cabana for as long as we wanted that day as they had no second shift takers. We hung out til about 5pm.

Thanks for the compliments on the dress, I won't tell you what a bargain it was...you may think your RC friend is a cheapster! But it was a steal, marked down and down again!! And in my size....the only one there. So it had to be mine! Hey, I have to be cheap sometimes otherwise we'd never get back to WDW!!

I just made the MOTHER of all changes. I just happened to check my dh's employee website. Lo and behold cruises were discounted. I just booked a 4 night cruise on the Dream at over 50% off. I guess nobody wants to cruise in hurricane season. 1100 for a 4 night cruise. Ok so were back at WL cl before cruise and Bc Cl after cruise. WOW what a multitude of changes this vacation has been. I love Hurricane season. Now I just have to hope the cruise is not a washout.

I know I missed a lot.... but I'm brain fried today. I woke up at the crack of dawn to make my BOG reservations. Sat on hold for an hour and 23 minutes, got a CM, made 2 reservations. I went to the grocery, gave the dog a bath, then just took a really long nap. I need to get in the spare bedroom and clean before DH comes home and sees I made NO progress today

You could probably go next month.Keep an eye out. The Dream is being discounted a lot at the last minute. I think all the DCL peeps are sailing on The Fantasy. The Dream is 2 years old now so it's not selling out.

Pas It's Poly/BW/BC. I prefer Yc, but BC is what I got. Not very original I know. I feel like it's our May trip all over again. BW Cl will be new and in May we were at YC cl so BC Cl is new. We usually spend the first night at a mod or offsite since we don't arrive to after 5pm, and that if everything goes well. I may book the first night at AKl if I can get a standard room. A standard room at Akl is not much more than a mod.

Jen The first Star Wars weekend. May is my favorite month to go. Perfect weather, and lots of activity between the F&G festival, and Star Wars weekend. I love the free concerts in Epcot.

Can I just say I am extremely jealous...I mean happy for your great cruise deal!! What kind of stateroom is that? Wish we could take advantage of this but alas...it is not to be until next year!

Cat 5c. It's a verandah, but they will assign the stateroom closer to cruise date. It's very rare for Dcl to discount the Dream to travel industry employees. The cm I talked to said they rarely get Cm discounts on the Dream. The older ships are discounted more frequently. It was just too good a deal to pass up. I don't know if I'll ever luck out like this again.

I am confident that Jan and Feb will get discounted as they are both Value seasons and should not be busy at all. My only resort choice that I am really not sure of is the POR. I know the RR's look cute and we have enjoyed POR but I feel like I really want to try the Poly or CR. I had pretty much convinced myself to do it, but then looked at what I am guessing the rates will be based on the current summer AP rates. I am looking at about $400 more for 2 nights to change it. Tell me not to do it!!! Tell me save the money, tell me to take that $400 and book another weekend!!!!

Okay looking into the refurbs. Lots of speculation on timing and just what is being redone. I think I'll pass on the Poly for Jan. So now we are between CR and POR. I just showed DS(9) the rooms at CR since he has all the sensory issues. he LOVED the way the rooms looked and has always loved the Contemporary when we go through it on the monorail. Oh what to do, what to do???

Melissa - have you stayed at POR before? We stayed there 3 years ago and loved the resort -and that was before the rehab. It's the only mod a family of 5 can fit in and we are trying to see some others. But I would have no hesitation going back to POR if it meant I could get a second trip in. Of course, like Candace, I am not doing what makes sense financially! We are going to try the EPCOT area. But I did loVe POR. The food court is good And I loved the boat to DD.

If you think about...and I have...a vacation is a splurge to begin with....no one needs them to survive. So the best decision financially would be not to take one. But since we are choosing to do it, we might as well do it

We are at YC. BEAUTIFUL UPGRADE alert. Wait for it..... Wait for it.... From my multiple windows and balconies I can see SAB and the boardwalk. I can hardly believe my eyes. I am taking pictures of the suite and the views. I haven't stopped crying yet.....I feel so blessed. . Had to share it here first. Got to go....DH is saying "are you seriously stopping to post on line......" Had to share this with my RC sisters (and occasional brothers).
