What a great idea to save everything from all those occasions for one big blast. I love that idea. How many people talk about doing something like that but don't follow through? I have a feeling they will.

Oh Rob, wouldn't that have been great? Now, having said that, I do have a ticket for this Friday's Lotto Max....you never know what would happen if we won....I always dream of winning the lotto

He's sure is a keeper....he's like part of the family already!

I have a feeling they will as well! It was cute to listen to them talk saying that they can go out for dinner anytime, but they can't have a special dinner at Palo anytime....too cute!

You and me both! I love that you remember that....and yes, it's ALL he's talked about! We are wait listed for early seating for dinner and the first thing he asked was "if I want a double cheeseburger at 10 I can still get one right?....let the eating feast begin!

Jeff can't quite wrap his head around the food-anything-you-want-anytime! That boy will be in his glory!

I am having such a great week of vacation and still have next week as well! That quote is something I have said for years and now my staff will say to me "are you feeling all kinds of good"...they crack me up!

Planning is happening, it's funny how you can make a plan, pull it apart and put it back together when you have the time

Yup, it's been pretty exciting around here that's for sure! They had to make their deposits the other day there and whenever money changes hands, it makes it very real

I don't know how I get so far behind in my updates! The fact that from Oct 18-Nov 4 I was on vacation makes it even worse!

I can share with you that we had some tense moments over my vacation. Jeff's mom was admitted to the hospital on a Tuesday and was having emergency surgery on the Thursday. They removed 10cm of her colon and now we wait......It makes you realize how fragile your life really is and how it can all change in the blink of an eye. We are praying for positive results from the pathology report! Jeff is such a great guy and you really see someone's character during trying times. He took on the responsibility of looking after his Lola (grandma), the cooking and laundry. Amazing young man!

Now, on to the latest of the PTR! Oh one more thing....Shan and I headed down to the states for our birthdays to do a little retail therapy! Had a blast and my sister came along as well...nothing like a girl's weekend! My BIL was working the weekend so my dad looked after the girls and took them to their activities. Shan had her first drink in the USA and she choose a peach sangria....I may or may not have finished it for her

Ok....now onto the PTR! When my sister went to add Jeff to our cabin she was unable to. So she booked Shan and Jeff their own cabin and my youngest niece will bunk in with me! She let me know that when we're getting for bed at night that we can call room service and they will bring us Mickey's bars....I think her and I are going to have a ball rooming together!

Shan and Jeff are two decks below us and instead of a veranda they have the large porthole with the seat! We figured both my sister and I have veranda's so the kids can always come up there and lounge around if they want to! It was a little cheaper for them so they went with the porthole!

As of right now my sis and her family will fly down on Sunday Aug 17 and Jeff might go with them or he may fly down on his own on the 16th but we'll decide that closer to the trip! Shan and I will do the resort switch on the Sunday and hopefully they will arrive around 1ish that day so we can have a great first day with them all!!

We will be starting our daily plans shortly so as soon as I have the first day figured out, I'll let you know! Hope you all have an amazing weekend!

Oh my, please pass along my prayers to Jeff for his mom. While it is certainly in no way a good situation, to see him take on that responsibility is truly inspiring.

Oh dear, sending well wishes to Jeff and his family. My aunt just had a similar surgery, and so I know firsthand how stressful that can be for the loved ones. It's good that he's getting a vacation soon, something cheery to focus on.


Sounds like you and your niece are going to have a great time being roommates on the cruise. Who doesn't love Mickey Bars before bed?
