I wanted to see if anyone has seen the new Sherlock Holmes movie. If so what age do you think it is appropriate for?

I was thinking about taking my dd and my dsis this afternoon but I want to make sure it is okay for my dd.

How old is your dd? My dd is 13 (ok almost 14) and it was totally fine for her. There is nothing racy in the movie, the scene with him naked in the bed is shown in the commercials, and that is the entire scene. It is violent, some slow motion violence, which made me cringe a little in one spot, but overall, I really didn't think it bad. Has she seen any of the Spider Man movies or Iron Man? I would liken it to those. It was a great movie!

Took my sons 11 and 6 and they both were fine. The 6 year old was antsy and not interesested in the movie but 11 year old liked it. I loved it...love Robert Downy Jr.!!!

We are going to see it this afternoon. My dd is 8. I think she will be okay - she loves seeing "grown up" movies with the girls.
