Our family are going May 9 to May 29 and want to stay at Universal officiel resort for the first 5 days..

The rest of the time we would like to stay at one resort..

Last year we stayed at HIFS and loved it..

This year our decision goes towards Sheraton Vistana Villages..

the best rate we can find is 151,50 pr. day.. We need the 2 bedroom..

Is this a fair rate ? or any suggetions to where we can find a better rate ?

I think that is a reasonable rate actually for this property.

We loved our stay there.

I've been to HIFS too and was impressed, but when I went to V.V. I was blown away by the landscaping and immaculate accommodations and all the room to spread out in our villa.

You may try renting from an owner for a flat fee for the week, no taxes either, here at: www.tug2.net. Check 'classifieds', then "orlando for rent" and you'll see timeshare properties for rent complete with descriptions and price.

You also might try:

www.expedia.com
www.travelocity.com

Hope this helps a little :D

We are also thinking of staying at Sheridan Vistana Villages.Could you tell me where you can get rate of 151.00 Thanks

The rate is on the official homepage:
www.sheraton.com
a 21 advanced day booking...

Does anyone know what No Housekeeping rate is ?

Does it mean that no cleaning ? and no clean sheets if we stay 16 days ??

I just posted that Hotelkingdom.com is listing the Vistana Villages again starting at $139.00 per night as of today's dates, of course the time you go will determine the rate, but worth checking for sure.

Hope this helps you both.

I have tried your advise - but the hotel

Sheraton Vistana Villigages does not show up at all..
on the dates May 14 to May 29....

Are yoy sure that HotelKingdom are selling this hotel ? or am I doing something worng ?

gnavpot - go back to their site and look on page 8 at the bottom.

I just put in your dates and they are there from $145.-$169. per night depending on villa type. Click on "info" next to the rate and it will describe the villa.

Lorix2, I just checked for our dates and I get the exact same room description for each room rate. Are you getting something different? They are listed as regular, standard and luxury but the descriptions are all the same. Should I take that to mean they are 1, 2, and 3 bedroom? If memory serves, V.V. has all three. BTW, the room description sounds like it must be for the 2 bedroom because it lists a max occupancy of 8.

crusoe- yes, they are 1, 2 and 3 BR units. I would call HK directly though to verify exactly what they are offering. I noticed the same description also.
