Sheraton Vistana II Codes

Does anyone know why Sheraton Vistana Resort has four different codes, VIT,VIO,VI1, and VO1 with Interval International, and what they mean.

on the tug board they were told that the codes refer to different building.

despite this beginning one resort - each section is run separately????

Cascades and lakes - are there - but I don't know what the other two codes mean.
