We have a deluxe room booked at Sheraton Studio City. Is there a certain floor or room I should request? Also, any word on this hotel...this is out first trip to USF and first time staying outside the World? Thanks!

Hi there!

I have not stayed here before but plan to do so at the beginning of our next vacation to Disney World. We wanted a place close to US/IOA. We also wanted transportation to US/IOA and SeaWorld. I was concerned about staying off property for a few days too because we did it once before and it was horrible. (Ramada - Yuck!)

I posted the same question a few weeks ago and got some really positive feedback about this hotel so my mind is at ease. In fact, I didn't hear anything negative! Hope this helps, even if just a little bit.

I stay at the Sheraton Studio City every trip to Orlando (Usually 1 or more weekend trips per year). I've had nothing but good experiences. The hotel has a movie theme which goes along quite well with a Universal Studios trip. They have free transportation to the parks, as well as a small arcade, restaurant, and fitness club onsite. The hotel was completely renovated a couple years back. Request a room on a higher floor facing Universal if possible. The view is great!
