If you do a 'search' here on the Safari, there've been a couple of question on it lately so you will get more info.
We've stayed there for a few days the last couple of Octobers. It's a nice hotel in a super location. The pool area is great with a fun slide. The rooms are an ok size, slightly dark because of the furnishings theme, but have a safe; try and get a pool view room. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
There is a large car park. Tip: once you know which room you will be in, there are different buildings so you can then park your car in the nearest car park to your building - they are in a square, surrounding the pool. There is a little gift shop as well.
There is a nice restaurant in the hotel, nice buffet breakfast, but better value for money can be had right next door where there is a Sizzler, over the road is an IHOP, Shoney's and Dunkin Donuts. There's Tony Romas pizza and Italian by the Sizzler, an Eckerds drugstore for snackeroonies and a Steak 'n Shake.
Further along the road - within a couple of minutes walking distance - is an Olive Garden and a Denny's or Perkins (can't remember, sorry!), and down at the Crossroads (3 mins in the car, 8 min walk) is Jungle Jims, McDonalds, mini golf, supermarket and a few other shops.
If you need any more info, please holler
