Sheraton Safari: Any Comments??

My 5 year old daughter and I will be going to Disney in March. Any comments of feedack on the Sheraton Safari?

Hi Mickeymommy....Gosh, can ya believe we're in Kernersville too????

We stayed at the Sheraton Safari once on our first night before checking into a Disney Hotel. We got 4 rooms thru Priceline for $30/room.

We really liked this place. Everyone was very friendly, the rooms were large, clean & comfortable. The restaurant was great for dinner & breakfast. The pool, with slide, is large and the kids loved it. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Location is very close to the entrance to the driveway to Downtown Disney.

If we were ever going to stay offsite, I would not mind one bit staying at this place again.

Thank You Bob! You are from Kernersville too? We moved here from South Florida a couple years ago. I used to go to Disney al the time (we have 2 kids, age 5 and 7), but have not been since May 2001. We now live off Piney Grove Road in a development named North Lake. Love it here in kernersville....so calm compared to Fort Lauderdale.

Stayed there Christmas 2001 and it was fine. Had a great pool view, and the room was clean and comfortable. I think that the air con was a bit noisy, but nothing terrible.

hi we stayed there for three weeks in october 2002, it was alovely hotel the staff were brilliant with the kids, the food was great in the resturant, the kids eat free under 11 i think, if you can get a room overlooking the pool ours had a balcony which was lovely of a night to sit and watch the pool after a busy day in the parks as said before the pool is great our boys loved it and we had a hard time getting them out some times, there are lots of other resturants nearby and the marketplace is about five mins in a car, hope this helps please feel free to ask if you have any questions susie

We stayed there last June and loved it -
The pool is great, the grounds are nice and they have
half price appetizers in the bar - had them for dinner one night.
We stayed there for four nights and then went to Port Orleans and liked them both
