Any other recent reviews of the Sheraton Park?
Has anyone had a rollaway bed in their room? Just wondering if there is space for that.
Lots of activity on this thread since the last time I checked in.
Currently staying at the Sheraton Park for the second time in the past two weeks (a six day stay, followed by 3 days at other hotels, followed by a 4 day stay back at the Sheraton Park). I just went to the front desk and asked about rollaway cots in the room, and here is the reply straight from the horse's mouth (as we say in Canada; I'm sure that our Disney buddy SomeGuyInOz would use a similar colourful Australian expression such as: "straight from the crocodile's butt"; but I digress...).
For a standard room, the maximum occupancy is 5 people, although my tests on the Starwood website indicate that trying to book 5 people into a room is not allowed. Presumably, you would have to phone the hotel directly to do a 5 person in a room booking.
We are currently in a 2 queen room, which has little room for a cot. The front desk has confirmed that they do not allow cots into a 2Q room. They do allow one cot into a room with 1 king bed.
The bottom line:
(1) they allow two beds per room, either 2Q or a King with a cot.
(2) five guests are allowed per room, subject to condition (1).
Basically, I think it is possible to have up to 2 adults and 3 children in a room, but it would be difficult if not impossible to have more than 2 adults included in the 5 person limit.
Got to get back to the lounge for "last call", so I can get one more free beer...
EDIT:
Just got my last free beer of the evening. The front desk also told me that the hotel has 4 suites (maximum occupancy unknown), but the employee told me she had no idea how much those cost per night. I suspect the cost is outrageous, but I guess a person would have to phone the hotel directly to find out just how outrageous.
I'll reply to other recent posts in this thread tomorrow.
