Not sure if Im doing this right...but i thought it time to start my planning journal.
My name is Sheena Im 25 years old. My fiancés name is Mike and he's 34. I'm a Pediatric RN and about t start Grad school to become a Nurse Practitioner. Mike currently works in retail and is thinking about going back to school. We both live outside of the Philadelphia area.
We met on an online dating site in Jan 2009. We instantly hit it off and knew that we were done looking for that special someone in our lives.
After dating for several months, he proposed
I got a lot of unpleasant remarks from friends saying we rushed into it. This was hard for us. But we felt it was right and decided to move on and if they can't support us then that's on them.
I've been going to Disney every year since 1989 with my mom. And it's my favorite place to travel to and its our special place. So i felt that is the place i wanted to get married. Also, my mom always wanted this too. Poor Mike has never been to Disney and didn't know what he was getting into when he proposed... because i am such a Disney freak...lol. Surprisingly he agreed to get married there. We are going to plan a trip there early next year, so he can at least say he's been there once before we're married.
I'm in the very early stages of planning, but i have been penciled in for a Wishes wedding, WP for ceremony, Whitehall patio for cocktail hour, and possibly the St. Augustine Ball Room. It's frustrating not knowing for sure because i want to give everyone plenty of time to plan for it. I plan on inviting 50 to 80 people. Also, I know that i want my colors to be chooclate and light pink.

Considering you are not getting married until 11/11 I don't think you are rushing it. Very nice plans.
