Yeah I drive but I don't have insurance yet. So I can only drive when my parents are around.

i forgot to ask you about Texas insurance laws. You can drive with your parents in the car with no insurance? How much is insurance down there?

Whoa, i I didn't see this before. I can indeed tell you unless you have a permit, you are not covered with or without your parents in the car. I can also tell you in TX it's SERIOUS business to be caught without insurance. Your state is the 2nd most uninsured state in the country. Police really enforce big time. Since you are over 18 you could go to jail for it.

Please please please get yourself insured or don't drive at all.

Hi kimmar! How is your DH's eye?

....well, he went to the eye Dr yesterday....he took off the 'contact lens' and he had to, [ * shudder *, * gasp * ] SCRAPE the glue off his eye....then he put a salve in my DH's eye and a patch over that so that he wouldn't have too much discomfort during last night.....today, he said that he could see with it, but his eye is really sore [ and still red]...

That is what I have heard from my parents. My parents pay a couple hundred a month.
