Prom was AMAZING last night! I had so much fun

The night start off a little bumpy...the group I came with thrives on drama so after dinner I was able to escape I ended up spending the evening with one of my very close friends (we're going to college together) and I had a blast with her and her group of friends!
The music was AWFUL but that didn't stop me from tearing up the dance floor

DD's are going over their packing list for camp, it is called Jumonville (the camp). Around here it is a biggo thing to go to camp, church camps included.

DS had a super time at Cedar Point, the child even said perhaps we should go there instead of Disney, their coasters ROCK. I gagged, then swooned. I am currently not sure if he is my biological child.

I would like to visit some garage sales this morning (I know, I am already late), but the DD's insist on having breakfast, go figure!

Alicia goes to a different school then me (private) and she is only in 10th grade (she's 1 year younger but 2 grades behind me)

DD10 and I went saleing
(sorry Judi, no pole barns)

she got some lovely trinkets (her own money)
and I bought two fitted bottom sheets (for the camp bunks, under the sleeping bags) for fifty cents.

It was a whole community sale, we just parked and walked all around
very nice until 10 started pouting since I wouldn't allow a FREE kitten, still being bottle fed.....

then I determined she must be hungry so we went to McD's and life returned to it's glorious happy grandness.

Right before we left, I discovered ants by my front door
around a plant that has been there forever....

so I may have gotten a little spray happy with the ant spray
and now my house has a familiar but nauseating ant spray smell


I had to wipe up the excess ant spray (I am very spray happy)
and then mop the floor
but there is still a bit of the smell lingering
so I have opened the windows to aerate the house.

We have found the camp packing list
so the DD's are making piles

DD13 always WAY overpacks....
DD10 still prefers for me to "help" her...

While I was saleing
DH noticed the faucet in the bathroom was dripping
and (this is my theory) attempted to fix it
and broke it completely


he and DS are now out faucet shopping
and the water is turned off
