She’s Back

After an extended stay at the repair shop which included a rebuilt engine, rebuilt transmission, new radiator, new air conditioner lines and compressor; as well as body work to the front and rear , our motorhome is back! Some of you may remember our ill fated trip to the Dismeet in November. On Thursday we took the motorhome on a short 2 night stay at the Yogi Bear Jellystone Park on Prince Edward Island. Tom was pleased with the power of the engine and it towed the truck well. A new step is on order and a few other minor repairs were discovered. Reservations for the Fort are made for November and we are looking forward to an uneventful trip!

Your description reminds me of the "My Grandfather's Axe" story.

'Yep, I've got my grandfather's axe as a keepsake. I've changed the head twice and the handle three times, but it's a family heirloom I want to pass down'.
