Shaving.

Shaving on my legs lasts like a day and a half for me.
While I need to do it, it dries my skin right out.

I'd shave at night and usually by the next afternoon I need to shave again
It's terribly annoying

hmm, I started this year, so, 12 was when I started.I hate getting cuts when I shave, like the back of the knee, it really sucks when that happens!

Don't rest your knee on the tub when you shave the back of your knees or your knees period
Straighten your leg so you're standing, you get a closer shave that way and it doesn't nick you

It's funny that that works for you. The one and only time I've cut myself shaving was when I didn't put my foot up on the side. If I straighten my leg and try to shave my knees that way, the skin 'bunches up', for lack of a better word, and is more susceptible to cuts. For the actual knee, that is, not the "knee pit".

it makes me feel old that i've been shaving my legs for 6 years. :O


i just asked my mom if i could and she let me, and she helped me not cut myself!


my sister...who is 16 years old has never shaved her legs! I am SO jealous...because it's not like she even needs to.
She has red hair and the hair on her legs looks almost invisible!!
She is a lucky duck!

I think I started shaving 6 years ago, so I would have been 12 at the time. I never really get any cuts. But on of the few times I did get one it hurt like crazy and bled forever, we were at MGM that day and I remember I had to keep putting a new band aid on it because it was bleeding.

I was in 4th grade, so I guess I was about 10. My mom bought me an electric razor so I wouldn't kill myself with a regular one. My leg hair was blonde, so it didn't really matter, I just wanted to because all of my friends were doing it too.

Its actually better for the hairs as it is pulling the whole hair out so they dont grow back as quick.

See, my leg/arm hair is blonde, so you can't really see it unless it's reflecting off the light.

I hate wearing shorts. I haven't worn shorts very often this year. I just can't stand wearing shorts. Oh wait....I forgot...PE I have to wear shorts. @_@
My mom hasn't started talking about it to be yet. I'm glad that she hasn't, but I'm still kinda worried. Cause guys at my school are jerks, and they look at girl's legs for some reason. That's why I wear jeans all the time.

Yeah, I started in fifth grade behind my mom's back so I could brag to my friends about how mature I was. Ahh, elementary school days :]

But I shave my legs only like once every week or week and a half. I have blonde leg hair, you can't see it at all.

Only problem is, I get razor burn really easily, so I used Veet last night. Now my legs are SO smooth. I'm like mesmerized by my skin. :]

I hate my razer because it doesn't work too good. I will shave and then I still have hair where I shaved. It gets really annoying, but its the only one my parents will buy.

I started shaving when I was 11..erm 12. Wow I don't remember LOL.

I remember like using bladeless. It did nothing! It was dumb. So now I just regular shave haha. But I have blonde hair but it's like once I shave and then it grows again or whatever I hate the pricliness. Yes I can't spell, and I invent words. Get over it (happy smile ) LOL.

I started shaving when I was about 12. I don't shave my legs every single time I'm in the shower, but maybe once or twice a week. But I usually rush and just move the razor like a regular routine, so every once in a while I'll take a really nice long time with it. And it's totally worth it, my legs end up looking great.

i started in fith grade and i use veet because i do it once a week and the hair doesn't grow back for like a wekk to a week and a hlaf but yeah no regular shaving for me i just put on the veet and jump in the shower i think though that i just got lucky

oh...I started in 5th grade, so...10. I was 10. I did it because my friends were doing it. I've got dark hair, so it really shows. I have to shave every day. If my legs aren't smooth, I can't stand it.

I started when I was 12, right before a school dance. My shower doesn't have any lighting so its hard to see and I always seem to miss a spot and then get annnoyed by it and have to get back in the shower.

Erm, does anyone else shave without using creams, just razor like that.
I just use a disposable razor (no cream or anything)
Is that OK, or should I buy cream?
