Im not afraid of sharing anything with anyone.

I was in Grade 7 so...around 12.

I was 11. The first time I shaved my legs.
My self conscious was getting the better of me, so I decided to shave my legs the night before I was going to wear a pair of black capris. Well, I had no idea what I was doing, and I knicked myself a lot. I walked out of the bathroom, covered in band aids.
"Jaimie, what happened?"
"I shaved my legs," I replied in a nonchalant tone.
*Mother spazzes*

No capris for me.

It actually went really good and I didn't cut myself at all.

I wish everytime had been that good, now I think I'll have a permenant scar on my ankle from shaving. =[

See, my leg/arm hair is blonde, so you can't really see it unless it's reflecting off the light.

My hair is so dark, and so is the hair on my legs, so I needed to shave
I quit for a while
Then I started again in 6th grade when I started taking PE

About 12-13. I really cannot remember.

I've only cut myself once in the several years that I've been doing it. Even then, it bled for a very short time and wasn't a big deal. I realize that it happens to a lot of people but I just cannot imagine how one cuts themselves that badly shaving their legs .

I shave my legs every day~sometimes more often. I'd rather deal with the after effects of dry shaving than have a patch on my legs (although, my distaste for hair on legs surpasses the burning of dry shaving. I'd rather deal with the sting, which no longer bothers me at all, than deal with hair.). I absolutly cannot stand having anything but smooth legs (plus, if you shave everyday, if you miss a spot, it doesn't matter). It honestly grosses me out to see hair on anyone girl's legs, including mine. Even on little girls where I know full well that they're too young to be expected to shave it still gives me a horrid feeling in my stomach if I see it. I really don't know why and I know it shouldn't but it does.

My mother never "showed" me, I never really thought there was a need for it.

ETA: I always do enjoy when threads from the CB get brought over here . That wasn't meant to be sarcastic, either, by the way.

Go figure,I've got brown hair on my legs,but blonde on my arms.
So I only do my legs.
I first started out dry shaving..OMGGG!!!
I've never felt pain like that before.
And water didn't help either.

I can't use a regular razor anymore either.
I have to use the Intuition razor,the one with the soap built around it.

I'm pretty good at it. I shave pretty much everything except my arms and the hair on my head.

I just hate the feeling of body hair.

I started shaving my pits (xD) when I was like.. 10, 11?
Then that following summer I shaved my legs. My mum told me not to because she thought I didn't need to. But I didn't cut myself. And I just kept on like that forever.
