sharing Ts meals

We went in 2005 and had the dining plan, my daughter and I shared alot of ts meals, (no buffets), does anyone know if this is still allowed? We hate to waste so much food!

I asked the CM I talked to on the phone yesterday at Reservations (407 W Disney) that question - she didn't know of a policy - it sounded like it would depend on the restaurant, but she didn't see why we couldn't share (at non-buffets).

Does anyone else know? I'd be interested to hear from someone who's been there and tried it lately!

Last month we were were one week on the DDP and two weeks OOP. My DD11and I split several adult entrees and never had a problem. Some places brought an extra plate and some places actually split the entree for us.

I share a lot with my 6 yr old and it hasn't been a problem.

We were 2 adults and split most of our meals (not a problem)...although we did double their tips.
And the obvious is you can't split at buffets & all you can eat skillets, etc. There was some things we split and still couldn't finish everything!

I'm thinking of doing this with dd. If we do then she will have extra counter service credits. We fugure she could use the xtra credits for her breakfast .Would be be able to use kids CS at main street bakery and what could she get for breakfast... do they have kids meals or could she get same choices as adults?

There is no resort-wide policy, so it would be up to the restaurant. There may have been a few reports that sharing is disallowed at certain a la carte restaurants. I'm unable to remember which restaurants. But ask when you arrive. Most restaurants at WDW appear to permit and even encourage sharing.

The only certainty is that sharing will not be permitted at buffets and all-you-can-eat restaurants. Nor is it permitted to share the all you can eat skillet at Whispering Canyon.

If there is no separate children's menu at a CS location, a child's credit may be used for anything from the regular menu.
