We're not doing the dining plan this trip -- we did it last time and enjoyed it but it was so much food...plus our younger DD will be 10 when we go and she definitely doesn't eat $40/day of food. On our last trip, we realized that we could have easily shared entrees, plus appetizers and desserts, and that would have worked out really well (we ended up doing that most of the time anyway, because our younger DD didn't care for the food on the children's menu at most places).

Do the TS restaurants have a problem with sharing entrees? I am thinking that Dh and DD (10) can share, and DD 14 and I can share -- DD 10 and I don't eat much at all. If we're a little hungrier, we can get 3 entrees. If we're absolutely starving we can get 4 entrees, but last time it was just too much food.

Sharing entrees is not a problem. Obviously if you go to a buffet, price fixed or AYCE location/item (such as skillet at WCC), then you'll pay full price for everyone. However, sharing an entree is never an issue.

Also, something to keep in mind, if you are a bit hungrier but don't want an entire extra entree, you can always order an appetizer to supplement.

Thanks so much. We shared a lot of CS lunches -- again, just too much food for us! LOL I wanted to make sure that wasn't a problem for TS. We did a buffet last time but not sure if we'll do one this time or not...I feel like we never get our money's worth out of them because my girls and I are really not big eaters at all.

We also have a dd who turned 10 last year so we shared also. We had no problem sharing at Kona, Sci-fi, LTT (lunch), and Tony's. However for some reason at Coral Reef both the waiter and management said you can't share on the DDP. I've never actually seen a rule saying 2 "adults" on ddp can't share so I don't know :confused3.

We shared a lot on our January trip, including in signature restaurants. No problem at all.
