Has anyone shared (or tried sharing) appetizers/entrees off the a la carte menu at Palo? My wife and I were considering sharing an appetizer or two with the 28oz Porterhouse (but getting our own side item). Is it discouraged or not a big deal? We have a Palo dinner reservation on the Fantasy in March.

Yes, we have shared appetizers. I see no reason why you could not share the porterhouse as well. They are very accommodating to your wishes.

We did it in September on the Dream, especially with how the pricing is set up now, to stay within the 45 we are playing around with sharing options for all courses vs ordering extras

My son and I shared an appetizer at Palo on the Fantasy last week. We just asked our server for 2 plates, which she happily provided.

I had friend's order a shared entree at Palo in November '22 and there were no issues.

Is there a link to this new plan? I have a feeling I am under informed for my cruise next month.

So is there a charge for the reservation, and itemized cost per item? I know the tip is not included, but might have been originally over 20 years ago
I only went to brunch before when they had the buffet. Like $35 and tip I’d add. My dinners were free because of a DCL mistakes during a 2019 cruise. Otherwise dinners at MDR’s are great and I really only liked the dessert at Palo.
I need to figure this out. My dad will order the cheapest thing if he sees prices and then tell me I shouldn’t have taken him there. Real mood crushing meal for me if I have to apologize the whole dinner.
Can I get priceless menus?

Can hubby and I go for just a drink, app & dessert? We have an 8:30 reservation and I’ve only done brunch. Trying to decide is we should go.

As far as I know, there is no minimum purchase amount. Because you would be taking up a table that could be used for another party, I would leave a generous tip for your server.

There is no charge for the reservation itself. For many years it was just a flat fee to dine at Palo for either brunch or dinner. Brunch remains a flat fee at $45. The dinner has changed. You’ll have two choices that evening - the prix fixe menu or the a la carte. The prix fixe menu is still $45 per person and includes an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert. If you order a la carte, then you can spend as much or as little as you like. I don’t think there is a way to get a menu without prices on it, and your father would be able to see the menu with prices in the app if he looked there.
