Sharing Disney with your kids

I have always been a major Disney fan, collecting Disney figures and even the old happy meal toys. I also like the artistic side of it, and love painting and drawing. As I sell my work I am often drawing.
So I have shared all these with my DD who is nearly 2. And she is now completely in love with Disney and Playhouse Disney channel!
I have a lot of people saying I have brainwashed her!
I think Disney is such a lovely thing to have in your life. I have passed down all my figures to DD and she loves to play with those. And she enjoys painting and coloring. So she's turning into a mini me lol
We took her on her first trip to Disneyland Paris Christmas last year. And she loved every minute of it.
She can name Mickey, Minnie, Goofy etc Bolt Mermaid. She has learnt a lot of words from Disney films etc
Is there anyone else like this. And what do your friends think?

I am laughing reading your post, because DH and I are EXACTLY like you! We love Disney and want our kids to love it too.

They just turned 2 and both can name many characters and love the Disney channel and many of the movies already. We've bought them many Disney books that they want us to read to them again and again each day.

My friends think we're nuts, but I don't really care. We are all happy

You are so lucky your DH feels the same!!!!! Mine sadly doesnt have the disney bug. But Im working on it!!!
Isn't it great to be able to share it with them. My daughter loves it!!!!

DH might be more obsessed than me or the kids combined haha! It's so fun. They love it and I love that they love it! I can't wait for our trips!!

You are not alone, my child is not even born yet and I'm already trying to turn it into a Disney fan. Now that it can hear, I play it music from the parks and plan on having the nursery have a princess theme if the baby is a girl and a pirate theme if the baby is a boy. When we were down in May I bought the baby its first pair of mouse ears, and plan to use them in baby pictures. This baby has already been 3 times in utero and his/her 1st trip will be when he/she is 5 months old, I'm hoping to build a live long love of Disney in this baby, lord knows that primarily where we will be vacationing throughout its childhood!

I think its just great fun. How exciting about the new baby!!! Any Disney names picked out yet.
I did my DD's room in pink, with Disney princesses wallpaper. And an array of my Disney paintings.
