Shareholder's discount

Just been reading up on the terms for the shareholders club as I'm thinking of buying the extra shares I need to rejoin. I always thought you only got a discount on the room rate but it says package - hotels and parks excluding transportation 10% if you call the shareholders club. Is this new and does it work with offers like 2 days free or whatever? Has anyone done it this way before? tia x

Ooh, I've never noticed that either, I have phoned for a price twice before a few years back when we first joined and both times buying a package online or on phone without the shareholder discount worked out cheaper. Maybe it's changed but I figured it was off rack rate without any discounts and as on the website it's normally discounted anyway by more than 10%.

You have always been able to book a package. I've queried the cost for a few trips but it has always been a lot cheaper to go with whatever offer was running. You don't get the offers through the shareholders line, just discount on the full package price.
