I'm coming down the home stretch before our trip. I'm making a final push to get some extra spending money! It would be nice to head down to Disney with a couple hundred extra in my pocket!

Sunday
  • I'm going to consider today to be a big zero. I redeemed on a couple of apps and earned more points on a few programs. But I don't count anything until I actually have it. I'm still waiting on $25 PayPal from EarnHoney and I redeemed for that 10 days ago!
Monday
  • Redeemed some of my Best Buy rewards for a $25 certificate. When the $25 BB GC that I ordered from SB arrives, I will combine them for a $50 Disney GC.
  • Redeemed for and immediately received $50 PayPal from iBotta
  • Received $25 PayPal from EarnHoney
  • Received $25 Target GC from Perk
  • Purchased $197.85 Target GC for $178.07 (a 10% discount) and paid with my PayPal funds. I'll use it tomorrow to buy Disney GCs at Target.
Tuesday
  • Bought another Target GC on CardCash - $170.81 for a $190 GC.
  • Redeemed for and received a $10 Target GC on Shopkick.
  • Bought $500 in Disney GCs at Target using the CardCash GCs, Target GCs earned from Perk and a Target GC from ShopKick. Paid an additional $2.15 cash OOP.
  • Received $25 PayPal from SB.
  • Redeemed for 10¢ on Checkout51, $1 on SavingStar, 700 Shopkicks, 963 Fetch Rewards points and $6.55 iBotta.
Wednesday
  • Received $25 PayPal from SB
  • Redeem for 25¢ at Walmart, $3.50 at CVS and $2.25 at Acme on iBotta
  • Received 500 Shopkicks for my Disney GC purchase at Target on Tuesday
Thursday
  • Received a $25 Best Buy GC from SB
  • Redeemed $8.25 at ShopRite on iBotta
  • Resubmitted a blurry Target receipt to Shopkick for 167 SKs.
Friday
  • Received $11.75 in rebates from iBotta for my ShopRite receipt. Also made a $1.50 bonus. Finally got credited $4.25 for my Acme receipt, which garnered me another $3.00 in bonuses.
  • Received a $25 Target GC from Perk
Totals for the week:
Cash - $125
Target GCs - $60
Best Buy GCs - $50

I am sure you guys hate questions like this but.... I do the E rewards for SW points and ebates for the cash. However I am loving the Disneyland ticket offer that Swagbucks just started offering. I need them for July!

What is your daily point goal? What is best way to earn these? I took some surveys this morning and watched video but seems slow going...I have to think there are tricks to speed this up. Thanks!
Everyone swags in different ways and there's no wrong way to do it. I'm not big on signing up for things or doing surveys. But I run the apps and let the nCraves run as much as possible. I print the coupons and hope that they credit. If there's an offer that interests me, I sign up for it but I save those for the days that the nCraves are slow. I try to hit the first goal every day so that I get the monthly bonus but the second goal is different for everyone and it climbs higher and higher for individuals if they earn a lot in a single day. I pushed hard for those second goals last month so my second goals will be pretty high now. But I'll be in Disney in a little while and I won't be doing SB, so I don't care how high they get this month.

Link to the SB thread. There are lots of helpful people who will give you hints on how to maximize your earnings:

Have been making some good progress over the past few weeks. Should get some decent Swagbucks bonus points this week for the start of the month, plus the discover offer. I almost have enough saved to cover 2018 and 2019 DVC dues, so pretty excited to add to that plus hoping for a bit more to add towards the new DVC contract fund this week too.

Sunday

I’ve never gotten into Swagbucks, my wife does it a little but not consistently, but this is intriguing! We’re tentatively planning a Disneyland trip for next summer and if we can get free park tickets that would be amazing! I looked on SB site and it’s 31,500 for an adult 3-day park hopper (30,300 for a child). We’d need two of each, so a total of 123,600 SB. For those that know SB well, how difficult would it be to earn that many in 10 months? How much time do you spend on SB per day to earn what you do?
I look at it this way. For 2500 SBs, I can get $25 in PayPal. That's cash money that I can use anywhere. So, the 123,600 would get me $1236 PayPal (although you need to cash out in multiples of $25). If I purchased 2A and 2C 3-day DL hoppers directly from Disney, the price would be $1236! So, IOW, there's no savings there by going thru SB.

OTOH, I could take my Target REDCard and buy either Disney GCs (to use for purchasing the DL tickets) and get 5% off the face value of the GCs. I could then use my PayPal money to pay off the Target card when the statement comes. It's a better deal and you have the flexibility of cash in the event that your vacation plans change.

This is all true, but I find I have a hard time saving cash from rewards. If it goes into my PayPal account, chances are it will end up being spent on other things. If I save up the SB for Disneyland tickets, it’s dedicated “funds” for my tickets. I didn’t realize, though, that your first $25/month cash out is discounted. I guess I could try to transfer the $ into my vacation savings account as soon as it hits PayPal.

Paypal is never discounted, even for your first $25 redemption each month. The discount is just on store gift cards such as Target and Walmart. I always redeem for Target for my first $25 each month, using those cards to buy Disney gift cards at Target. The rest of the month, I redeem for $25 Paypal credit and earmark it for my DVC fund.

Two more weeks until my trip!:Pinkbounc I've already saved up everything I need for this trip. Now it's time to start saving for my next trip...October 20 (or 21) through 26, 2018:goodvibes...just me and my two, teenage daughters.

I already have about $360 earned in gift cards and my goal is $1200 which will cover our TIW card and food costs. I don't have any cash "earnings" yet, but I will start saving my plasma money when I return from my upcoming trip. I will need about $1700 overall (airfare and "contingency" money) and any additional earnings will go towards "extras" like a F&W event, tour or MNSSHP.

Sunday
I went in to work at 0400 this morning and started my nCraves before I left....that was 16 hours ago and they are still running!:cheer2: I'm currently at 181 SB for the day, which made my first goal (72) but is still short of my second goal (240). I'm going to let it keep running and I am heading to bed since it will be another early morning tomorrow (up at 0300!). I'll update the final total in the morning....
....The final total was 277 SB, but the nCraves had stopped at some point. DH's are still going so I am going to try and get mine up and running before I leave.

Monday
I let the nCraves and my Lifestylz (on the iPad this time) run before I left for work. Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky this time and came home to find I'd only managed 38 SB before they shut off>:(. I started them back up and by the time I went to bed (around 8:30) I was still only at about 75...with a first goal of 97 and second goal of 260! When I got up Tuesday morning to check the final total for Monday, I was shocked to see over 400! Between the nCraves and the app, plus a 112 shopping credit that cleared, I managed to get 490 SB for the day:flower3:.

Tuesday
Today was a great day for surveys! I got THREE! Good thing, too, because my second goal was a whopping 290:faint:. I ran some nCraves and I finished the day with 319 SB. I also had a successful plasma donation for another $20 into the cash fund. I am not going to run any videos tonight (saving the household data) but DH might so I might end up with a few more SB's before the night is over. I work a 15-hour day tomorrow so I highly doubt I will make it anywhere near my goal...unless something suddenly credits (Rayovac, York photo, etc)

Wednesday
I left for work 16 hours ago and now that I am home, I decided to sit down and make a token effort to try and get a survey or at least a few SB's. Imagine my surprise to see that my York photo offer credited:woohoo:. I also got 14 referral SB's from DH so my total today was 1264 SB!

Thursday
Between nCraves and a small survey, I barely made my first goal. Total SB earned today was 171. My second goal was 280 so I wasn't even close.

I was able to complete a successful plasma donation too so that's $50 more into the cash fund:wizard:.

Friday
I didn't get a lot today...only about 60 SB in nCrave/videos...but I was able to do the Culturelle offer and eek out my first goal of 101. I also got 4 SB's from DH so I finished the day with only 115 SB...but I am at 6 days in a row with a 300 SB shopping credit set to clear tomorrow:yay:.

Saturday
Thank goodness for the shopping credit because I felt awful today. I am so tired I could hardly get out of bed. I had a few errands to run and it took every ounce of energy I had. I really hope I am not getting sick since I leave in 7 days! With nCraves, referral credits and my shopping credits, I am sitting at 466 SB for the day. I'm heading to bed now so I will have to see what the final outcome is tomorrow morning.

Redeemed for a $25 Target gift card from Swagbucks and a $5 Target gift card from Bing. Didn't meet my first goal on Swagbucks today since I was busy, but did manage to get two search wins. It will likely be a slow earning month for me with Swagbucks as I will be out of town for 8 days with very little time to earn.

I never leave money in PayPal. I just don't trust them!

I routinely "sweep" all cash out of PayPal and into a CapitalOne360 checking account. I don't have a debit card for that account and it takes about 3 business days for cash to move from it to my local bank.

However, to get back to your original question about whether it's possible to reach 123,600 SB in 10 months: My answer would be "maybe". If you have and account and so does your wife, that's 61,800 each. Break that down over 10 months and you would each need to consistently pull in 6,180 SB a month (after bonuses). That's 206 SB per day for each of you. It's doable but...that's e-v-e-r-y s-i-n-g-l-e d-a-y! I couold do it for a month. Maybe two months. But life has a way of getting in the way of my plans and I know that realistically reaching 200+ SB per day for 10 months would not happen for me.

But hey! It's worth it to try, right? Even if you don't hit that goal, you can redeem for as many tickets as you can get with what you earned and then convert the rest to PayPal or other GCs.

This looks like fun! I like seeing what everyone's doing to meet their Disney goals. Count me in this week. :)

Thank you all for the info about SwagBucks! I started playing around with it a bit today, on my wife's account. I sent myself a referral e-mail from her, so will try setting that up tomorrow. The videos are working out fairly well, and I qualified for a survey that earned 50 SB; I've earned 112 so far, and I think I met both goals. The first goal was 40, and now when I hover over that box it says "Total Goal 72" - is that the second goal that people talk about? I'm going to leave the videos running when I go to bed too.

Also jumping in to tracking my rewards - first day of a new month!

Sunday
  • Earned 112 SB (so far)
  • Redeemed $5 Target GC from Bing and maxed out daily points there
  • Caught up on Receipt Hog & earned 40 coins (so far, 3 receipts are still processing)

I am going to post meeting my Swagbucks goals here as an extra dose of motivation. I joined Swagbucks a few months ago and mostly have found the experience super frustrating, with everything that doesn't credit and the surveys that decide I am not qualified after I have answered dozens of questions. So I am focusing on just meeting the first goal through running videos, and possibly completing a few of the more profitable shopping deals.

Sunday: met first Swagbucks goal

Sunday: Mr. Rebates paid out $53.20
Paypal Cashback $15.96

Monday: Seventh Generation Class Action Payout $34.31

Sunday
  • 5,025 points posted from Fetch Rewards (5000 bonus points for spending $20 at Safeway on Saturday)
Monday
  • Redeemed 10,000 of my Barclaycard Arrival + miles as a travel statement credit to "erase" a $100 payment towards my resort reservation for January's trip.

I'm off to a good start for October. I redeemed for $25 Target gc through Swagbucks on Monday, I'm just waiting to receive that so I can convert it to a Disney gc. Today or tomorrow I should have enough to redeem $25 to paypal. I redeemed $5 to paypal from Savingstar yesterday.

I'm trying to figure out the twitter thing for Marriott rewards and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I thought there was a daily tweet for points, but I'm not getting any points for it. We really want to try the Swan so I was hoping to get as many rewards points as possible but so far it's not going well. Any tips? I have never used twitter up until this promo so I am assuming it something on my end.
