I have been struggling to put together a "plan of attack" for HS. I dont know why but its difficult. I have the other parks pretty much completed. I just wanted to see how others tour it.
Heres the need to knows
Me, DH, DS8, DD5
FP+ TSM @ 9:45-10:45
Star Tours @ 11:45-12:45
TOT 12:45-1:45
Sci Fi dinner at 6:45
We pretty much want to do as much as possible including RnR and Fantasmic!

We will be there in late May

You can check out our plan in my pre-trip report (linked in my signature), but one thing I would suggest is since you have a FP+ for tsmm, go straight to Rock-nRoller coaster at Rope drop (if doing Jedi training, that may affect that)...the waits for RnR will be over an hour starting a little before 10 for the rest of the day

Do you use touring plans? I find them so helpful. They can take some tweaking, but it helps me to see possible ways things might go.

I agree with the recommendation to do RnR at rope drop. If you want to see the Little Mermaid show, Disney Junior or the Star Wars Launch Bay, you can do one or two of those next. Then you can head to TSM and use your FP. You can probably fit in the 11:30 Frozen sing along after that. Then hit Star Tours before eating lunch. After lunch head to ToT for your FP there. If you want to see the Beauty and the Beast show you can do it next. Then head back for Indy and whatever else you want to fit in -- muppets, another ride on Star Tours (since there are multiple stories:versions that alternate), character meets, whatever.

Once you use the ToT FP see what else you can book for FP. You can probably still book an FP for Fantasmic in late afternoon.

I'm guessing your DD won't be tall enough for RnR. You can get a rider switch pass when you go to RnR at rope drop. Then your DS can ride with either you or your DH when you're back down there for ToT in the afternoon.

Thank you @ChloesDaddy This sounds doable!!! I have a TP subscription and it has not been helpful yet! The whole website is confusing to me.

We are going at the end of May and below is my HS plan. I've got a lot packed into it, but this is a starting point. With 4 kids we're super flexible, but I like having a plan to refer to:

8:50-9:00 Jedi Sign up (husband takes younger kids)
8:50-9:15 Rock and Roller Coaster? (I take older kids)
9:20-9:50 Tower of Terror (FP+ 9:25-10:25 - utilize rider switch)
10:20-10:45 Voyage of the Little Mermaid (10:25 show)
11:00-11:15 Toy Story (FP+ 10:45-11:45 )
11:30-12:30 LUNCH
12:30-1pm Startours (FP+ 12:25p-1:25p - utilize rider switch)
1ish Make FastPass for Great Movie Ride
1pm-3pm Snack, Indiana Jones, Frozen, One Mans Dream
3ish Great Movie Ride (with 4th FP)
5pm Beauty and the Beast Show
6ish? Starwars Launch Bay
6:30 DINNER
9pm FANTASMIC

Is it worth getting a FP+ for Indy? That third FP after TSMM/RnR & ToT is tough call if you're not a huge Star Tours or princess (i.e., Mermaid/Frozen) fan.

You're welcome! If you decide to try to create a plan for this using the customized touring plans on the TP site, just put the attractions in your desired order, enter your pre-selected FPs and meals, and hit "Evaluate" to get times for waits, walks and ride/show durations. Don't use "Optimize" -- that will reorder your attractions. If you play with it a little you'll get the hang of it.

I changed some times on FP+. we will have a late night at MK the night before, and I'm scared we wont be up and moving as early as I would like.
We will leave POR asap. Here is what I have. I feel like its such a long day without a break, but I guess we will manage.

It does seem like a long day following a late night, but might not be too bad since DHS is such a small park, especially with so much closed, and all the shows provide plenty of chances to rest. Our youngest is also five, so we're cautious about wearing her out too.

Btw, we will be at DHS on that same day, but it's our second DHS day and our plan is quite a bit different. Hope it all goes well for you.

I know it's not an out of park break, but you're going to have enough breaks in your day. HS isn't a big park, and you have some shows in there. I think it's going to be a pretty nice day with enough show breaks that you aren't going to exhaust yourselves.

If you're able to be up and there a half hour before opening, I'd go straight to TSMM, then to RNRC, then your day as planned. Kids will love TSMM, so adding an extra ride for them may be nice. If you can't get going that early, no big deal, but if you get up and think you can do it, I'd try to.

Thank you all so much. I feel better about this now. If worse comes to worse, we will take a break and for go some plans. Are the fireworks after Fantasmic!?

@ChloesDaddy thats so cool! Small world!

Is HS still considered an all day park with everything that's closed down?

Depends on what you want to do. Just the rides? Then no. Most of the shows, character meets, and a TS lunch or dinner? Then yes, it can take a full day.

My only concern would be the wait time for RNRC after Beauty and the Beast. It may be an hour long.
