Hi everyone!! In this thread you can talk about crazy/fun/exciting/sad/amazing/awkward/funny/or any other word (XD) you could use to describe your experience. I will share one of mine I can think of at the moment.

My friend and I go to Disneyland ALL THE TIME! But we don't live close to it at all. :) Anyways, you know when you ride the HM and you get the ghost in your car? Well a couple years ago, we got the kind of over-weight ghost. (I think his name is Gus.) Well she named it Bob. EVERY SINGLE TIME we have went on it since then, we ALWAYS get Bob. But we only get him if it is the 2 of us. It is so creepy!! XD

:hmghost: <------- One of Bob's friends. :)

I voted DL as well. Im actually going to WDW in2 weeks. My moment was back in 2006 i was with my grandparents, sister, aunt and uncle and cousin. It was spring break and about 7 at night. It randomly started raining and then it poured. It was like a freak monsoon storm. It was so weird. We got soaked though, but the park cleared out with the rain so it was awesome.

And finally, "Disneyworld is a vacation, Dinsyeland Is Home"

I will enlighten you on the ghosts' names (Feel free to call Gus Bob though. You got his name right by the way- nice!)
Ok so there's Gus, Phineas, and Ezra. Ezra is the tall skinny one, Gus is the short plump one, and Phineas is the one in the middle. I mean... it's kind of hard to describe ghosts besides height and weight haha.

I voted wdw! I've been there ten times and I just went to dlr for my first time this summer. It was great, i love dlr, but it wasn't Disney World. It's so funny that I feel more at home and know what I'm doing at the huge wdw, but at dlr I got pretty lost sometimes. It got frustrating just trying to find where the fast passes were haha.
Ummm well dlr does have musical chairs every day with Alice and the Mad Hatter. I got third place by the way :) The moms of the little kids kept getting mad at me since I'm 18 and wanted to play musical chairs... but I had been looking forward to that moment for at least a year so there.

Here's one of my favorite wdw moments: Pulling the sword out of the stone and becoming temporary ruler of the realm. :wizard:

I love that quote!! Did you make it up??

Haha, yeah I don't really know the ghosts names but my friend named him Bob so yeah. It seems like people who go to DL like DL more and people who go to WDW more like WDW better. When I went to WDW this summer for the first time, one thing my family noticed was the cast members weren't as friendly as at DL. But since we went to WDW, the staff at DL isn't doing so good at the friendly thing either. But I still love them. <3

About the what park you like better, people also like the park they go to the most better because you get to know everything about it. You also learn the layout.

Yeah its true. That's exactly how people are, including myself. Each park has it's pros and cons, so what I've been doing is trying to figure out which parts of Disneyland and wdw's Magic Kingdom I like better to basically create a super amazing Magic Kingdom.

Oh, and about the cast members- it's the same thing there. I've had so many more experiences with wdw CMs that I didn't like all of the CMs I met over at dlr. At first I wasn't very impressed with them... but there were a couple that added some magic to the trip. It's weird that they have to exit the park like guests at dlr and not use the utilidor. Just depends on what you're used to.

Walt Disney World :D
I've been there 12 times(:
There's always something to do, somewhere to go, and something to enjoy. Not a moment of dullness, and the place is huge. I dunno if I would like going to Disney and not being able to ride my favorite rides in DHS, EPCOT, and AK... especially considering EPCOT is my favorite park. It would just feel like something is missing.

I think the quote is backwards, "Disneyland is a vacation, Disney World is home." (:

No no im sure the quote is "Disneyworld is a vacation, Disneyland is home."

I think walt wouldve agreed to that as well

But I did like in Disney World that because it is so big, the parks aren't as crowded. But in WDW, the wait time for rides was always WAY off. They don't update them enough.

Oh, ok. Lol!

Haha, sorry, I should've quoted her post (:

Maybe so.
But did Walt personally help more with disneyland or disneyworld??

exactly

Okay... that's cool.

I'm not going to argue with you, nobody will ever know which park Walt thinks is better, because he's not alive.
He could like DLR better, because it was the first, he walked there, and lives it out.
He could like WDW better, it was his dream of the perfect place, it has everything you could ever think of, and it was made to be just like DLR- only better.
