Just sent my DD (4 1/2) outside to play in the snow....The snow was above her head in some spots. DH has cleaned the driveway once (2 hours ago) and now he is getting ready to go out and do it again. Took some pictures, but need to upload them. (est snow about 22" and still snowing hard.

I think it stopped here for a bit... hopefully it's finished. But at this point, who cares? It's like cartoon amounts of snow right now...

My birdbath in the garden is totally covered now. The snow is back level on my big lab... she said, nope, she isn't NOT going to go down those steps, and came right back in. DS21 had to coax her off the deck.

I keep checking on DH outside to make sure he isn't having a heart attack...

It stopped snowing here about 4 (we did the happy dance). We were able to dig out today (there was a 7 foot snow drift in front of the garage).

Oh my! That's like crazy amounts of snow! I would like it so we could stay inside, but I wouldn't like it cuz I know DH hates shoveling (and I don't do wet - cold or warm).

That snow is AMAZING!!! If we ever got that much snow, school would shut down 'til June!!

I think our total is 27 inches. I have a 4 ft snow drift along my retaining wall - -about 12 feet long. DS4 tried to walk through and near drowned! DD10 was screaming and holding him up. I got him out only to find that she was stuck in it too! We walked one block for a bday party. Waist high on
DD10. Most of the sidewalks had a path -- DS4 said he walking in tunnels -- shoulder high on him.

Forecast is calling for another 6-12 inches on Tuesday

DD took these with my water camera - -the fence has 3 rails, you can see the top of a cozy coupe sticking out of the snow in one photo, the grill and trashcans are good measures too. It snowed for about 3 hours after these photos.

You all got it much worse than us... We got about 5" according to DH...but I can tell you it was wet snow and good for sn*wball fights and sn*wmen & women! Yes, my DD decided we our now a family that must be politically correct and have both genders! LOL

We didn't get nearly as much here in Ohio, but still quite a bit. I am so ready for summer.

Great pics! That's some crazy snow out there! I don't know the official inches we got, but they always seems to say less than I measure. And the wind was terrible, huge drifts this storm. A bunch of my trees are laying down, so not sure if they are broken, or just heavy with snow...

I am so thank for that we still have power, a lot of familes down state and also down the road are without power right now. Tomorrow the family goal is to make a snowman.

O Yea got the call about 6 that there will not be school on Monday.

Bet your kids are cheering.

Three years ago we had an ice storm and didn't have electricity for 5.5 days over Christmas. We live in a rural area so we didn't have water or heat. Had to melt snow once a day to flush the toilets. Ew

DH fired up the generator on Friday just to be sure everything was in working order, but we didn't need it.

DS18's bday wasn't how we had planned, but it will be a memory he will never forget. But just let me say I'm glad we didn't get a snow like that 18yrs ago
