So I know many of you had an audition last Thursday, and the rest of ours are fast approaching!

Please share your experience! We're excited to hear about it!:cheer2:

Woops...confused last Thursday with this Thursday...

Prayers and Pixie Dust for all you auditioning!!! :wizard:

Anyone have anything to share about getting ready?

Hey Ash, I'm surprised you didn't post about your audition on your blog! Please tell me what it's like. I wasn't considering it at first b/c of my height (5'5), but I think it wouldn't hurt to add another role to my application, ya know? I can't really dance, but I can learn some basic choreography. I would SO love to be Jasmine or Pocahontas...heck even Tiana. But my DREAM is to be Minnie, but I'm too tall.

I haven't had it yet! That's why! Lol!

Monday Monday Monday!

Dream: To be a princess. Reachable: Wendy/Alice. Realistically: Chip/Dale

I'm auditioning this Friday, November 6! I'm so nervous. My friend auditioned last thursday and she is a very good dancer. She said they put one girl in a mickey costume but she didn't fit in it, and took another girl to dress her up as Alice. She also said they filmed two girls but they weren't even good dancers at all...Which seems odd to me. Anyway, they did their improv and then a dance, which according to a girl who had auditioned before was the more advanced dance, they didn't even bother having them learn the easier dance first. After she told me that I was kind of nervous but I feel like every audition is a unique experience, so I'm still not sure what to expect.

Good luck auditioning tomorrow PrincessAsh!!

hm..If you go to Disneyauditions.com it describes what they are looking for at the auditions. Most of them say face characters, fur characters, and parade performers. So I guess they are?

i thought they weren't pulling for face this audition season?

It depends on the audition. They're not doing it at strictly college program auditions, but some of the auditions (Chicago, for example) are also for full-time positions and they will be pulling for face at those.

Here's what it says on disneyauditions.com:

Disney Auditions is seeking energetic performers for Shows and Parades across the Walt Disney World® Resort, near Orlando, FL. Our performers bring to life shows such as Festival of the Lion King, Block Party Bash, High School Musical 3: Right Here, Right Now! and many more!

We are also seeking Disney Princess Look-alikes. Performers develop improvisational skills, poise and grace while working for one for the world's leading entertainment companies.

College students interested in performing for the WDW College Program, may click here for additional details.

All performers also portray the world famous Disney Characters. Costumed Character performers appear throughout our Parks and Resorts to meet-and-greet with our guests, sign autographs and pose for photographs.

Whether part-time, full-time, or seasonal, Cast Members receive competitive pay and also benefit from the Disney Difference - products and services designed to support our Cast in all aspects of their lives - at home, at work, and play!

HTH! :thumbsup2

OMG it just hit me that my audition is in 6 days!!
I'm sooo nervous!! and excited too!

Good luck to everyone auditioning!!!! :goodvibes

So I had my Audition this past Thursday and it went FANTASTIC :goodvibes Didn't get pulled for anything but I really think they liked me... but the most important thing is that it was SO much fun, and that's something I can't say coming out of a lot of auditions.

I was 47 out of 64 or so, and everyone was so friendly and Disney like (Choreographer: "Lets do it again!" Auditioners: cheer :rotfl:) and all so friendly, it's no wonder they said we gotta wait up to 4 weeks haha...

Good luck to everyone auditioning over the next week!!! Definitely remember to stay as animated during the dance as you were in your animation scenarios!!! :thumbsup2
