After I designed a pillowcase for my daughter I then changed the writing from "Danielle's Magical Disney Cruise" to "My Magical Disney Crruise" and made extra pillowcases to give to children on our 11/4-11/11/06 cruise.
I made 2 designs one purple pillowcase with Tink and ship(for girl) and one white pillowcase with different Disney Cruise Line logos (for boy). I purchased an extra set of Crayola fabric markers and split them between the 2 zip lock bags. When we dropped ours off at guest services there was a family there that happened to have a boy and a girl. I approached them to ask if they knew about the pillowcases and when they replied no I gave each of the kids a pillowcase. They were able to write their stateroom number on the ziplock and give to guest services right there. The family was so grateful and appreciative of our special gift. I also printed a reminder paper stating don't forget to pick up pillowcase from guest services and gave to them to hang in their stateroom. I only needed one of each design and figured since there are 2 pillowcases in a pack why not make an extra and share the magic with someone else. We received our pillowcases in our stateroom at the end of the cruise and all I could think of was that family receiving theirs. They probably had forgotten all about it and I'm sure it made their day as it did mine. The end.
