Hello, I haven’t been on in awhile. I’m traveling to Vancouver for Alaska cruise 7/18. We are traveling from LAX to Vancouver on 7/15. The Alaska cruise requires testing before the sailing on the 7/18, we plan on getting tested at Walgreens on 7/15 which is a Friday and I want go through my insurance. Does anyone know the turnaround for the results? It is only offering pcr 1-2 day results but it falls on a weekend so I’m little worried results won’t come until Monday which is the sail date Can anyone share there experience with getting text for Alaska cruise?

Thank you

Friday tests will work for Unvaccinated Under 5 year olds since they need PCR or NAAT tests. They will also get tested at the port paid by Disney on embarkation day, but they have to get that three days or less PCR/NAAT test loaded to Safe Passage by Sunday at midnight.

The earliest vaccinated passengers can get tested is two days before, which is Saturday. Many are using proctored self tests since vaccinated passengers can use rapid antigen tests. Also, if vaccinated passengers don’t get results loaded by Sunday night, they can pay for testing at port.
