I have had the Reebok Easy Tone shoes and loved them. I really don't see they do much "shaping up" or "toning" but they do feel nice on your feet. I'm in the market for a new pair as well and am planning a visit to the local stores this weekend.![]()
I have these as well and I agree that I don't think they tone anything but they are nice on your feet.
One thing I have noticed about the shape up shoes is that because the sole is so much bigger you have to pick up your feet higher to walk, which might be why people have having knee pain. Also, the design of the shoes is to make you use your leg muscles more, thus, they are not as sable of a shoe as a traditional shoe SO, if you have mobility issues, these are NOT a good choice.
For the OP, I would caution you to wear them a LOT around the house before you venture out in them if you have ankle issues. In the long run they may be a great thing for you but you are going to feel these shoes in your ankles if they are not strong to start.
