Just found this thread today .... So So WISH I would have found it sooner....
We are leaving in a few weeks

and I still have some more weight I would like to lose, but my story started back in July 2008 . Once I booked our trip I got out our photos from our 2007 trip. I wondered why I was NOT in many of them?
Then I saw THE Picture.. You know ... The Picture, the one photo that you see and realize OMG do I look like that ??? And it had to be worse, since I know I had gained some weight since then... So I did it .. I steppped on the scale....and CRIED

... but after crying I had a thought .. what if I could lose some weight .. I had plenty of time... our trip was so far away ... So I started ... I started working out for 30 minutes every day

.... and then I started eating smaller portions , and really watching what I was eating ... and Then I started working out for an hour a day

.... and here I am now
53 pounds lighter

..... It can be done.... I , of course, am so excited that our trip is coming, but I really want to lose another 7 pounds, so I can say I LOST 60 pounds ... but I am happy about what I have accomplished...

and NOW I have all of you to motivate me for my last 23 days so that I can lose whatever I can before I leave...
