I'd like to drop 20-40 pounds before our cruise in July. I've been walking, doing TaeKwonDo, and doing Pilates 2 times/week. I've got the added disadvantage that I had a total hysterectomy in Sept, so my hormones and muscle coordination are totally out of whack! I'm going to start a new diet plan a friend of mine is on that is designed for hormonal women (soy protein, etc) in Feb. just to see if that can jump start my weight loss.
It seems like anything I did prior to the surgery to loose weight doesn't work now. I had great success years ago (prior to birthing my youngest son) on weight watchers, but between working and parenting, I just can't fit the meetings in every week (and without the meetings, I just don't do as well on WW).
Anyone want to be my accountability person???

Glad this thread was started. We are going on our first cruise in June and would like to get a little fit before going. DH is going for 40 lbs. I have lost most of the weight already but I'd like to lose another 5. Mostly what I'll be working on is toning it all up. We've started already but we plan on really kicking this thing into gear after our trip to WDW next week.
the thought of working out this morning killed me.
