All your treats from F&W look so good. I can't wait to go down during that time again. The last time I went then, I was always so stuffed from the food plan I never took advantage of the booths.

We spent an absolutely lovely evening swapping trip stories and meandering around World Showcase (there may have even been a couple of more Dragon Berry Coladas somewhere in that time ). Heidi and Kat are absolutely delightful people -- I have decided I think DISers are some of the nicest people I have ever met, and I hope we all converge on WDW at the same time again in the future!

We all watched Illuminations from Italy -- well, Charles and TK’s son slept, but the rest of us watched the fireworks and then, we had to say our good-byes.

I agree about Disers being nice folks. We've met only nice and normal, down-to-earth (so far ) people at all of our meets.

The drunk story is too funny. And even better is your reaction, "wait until I tell the DIS." I had lots of moments on the trip where I thought the same. It makes the trip more fun to know you have people who will appreciate hearing the story.

CP, I'm so loving this trip report of yours. All the food art! Yum, yum, yum. It makes me salivate, it really does. I swear, your posts should come with a disclaimer. Please lean away from your keyboard, as the photos and descriptions contained herewithin may cause copious amounts of drool.

I love that drunk story. At least it's a harmless one, which is the best kind. Makes me think of Mrs. Doubtfire. Instead of a run by fruiting, it was a random kissing.

I make weird connections, I know.

And let me say, I had a lovely time enjoying the WS with you, Charles, Heidi, and my fam. It was a nice way to spend an evening, and being able to watch Illuminations with you was just an added bonus. I really enjoyed that.

Speaking of photos, I should probably e-mail you the two I have from earlier in the evening. On my camera, you and Heidi came out fantastic! Me, not so much. Maybe we could morph our photos together to create the perfect one.

I'm just glad it didn't involve flashing.

Drinking around the world just doesn't have the same appeal as it did when I was....oh wait, I'm not 50 yet. So it does have the same appeal as when I was in my 20s.....

Sleeping and Dragonberry Coladas seem to be a recurring theme....

Great update!! That Cosmo Slushie looks really good. ALL the food looks wonderful. I hope to make it to F&W next year. We are going in May but really want to go back for at least a few days in Oct.

Oh my gosh I was laughing my you know what off about the drunk girl! I saw a few people behaving a bit strange but more so were people smoking....like anywhere in WS. I wonder if the rules are a bit bent at this time of year? Just a bit of an annoyance, and not something I noticed any other time of year.

Loved your update. All the food you picked looked so yummy, no wonder you skipped your Teppan Edo ADR. Food & Wine looks like my way to eat...just sort of grazing around the world. A few bites here, a few sips there.

So funny that Charles decided to take a nap while waiting for Illuminations. I hope he woke up before the end of the show so no one stepped on him on the way out. Ouch!

What a great day you had. Love the story about the drunk girl. She probably got drunk because she either couldn't stand the BF's parents or she was nervous around them. What a way to loosen up. Yikes! Talk about awkward!
