Oh my goodness, I can't believe I missed it...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

And your present from your mother is wonderful - I LOVE Sleeping Beauty! :lovestruc

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

CP, we had a great Halloween, thanks for asking. DS was a ghost, and ever so cute. He would walk up to the door, and say "Trick or treat...BOOO!!!!" It was adorable.

I'm sorry to hear Chelsea was sick, but glad that you all got to bond over Gremlins. That scared the beejezus out of me when I was little. :lmao:

I couldn't see the photos in one of your installments, but I do see that beautiful doll your mother restored for you! I used to collect Madame Alexanders, so I can appreciate all the work that went into that. What a wonderful gift! Happy Birthday! :goodvibes

Happy Belated Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a fabulous Birthday gift from your mom!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely doll...pretty, pretty Sleeping Beauty...:goodvibes

(I love the whole Toy Story analogy...picture SB coming awake at night after you mom went to bed...:lmao:)

Sounds as though your Mom had a great time fixing Aurora, she looks beautiful :goodvibes

I hope Chelsea is having a restful evening. No wonder she didn't feel like trick or treating. I'm glad you got her on to the doctor, and I hope she will be feeling better very soon! :)

Jackie,

Am I just scattered today or did I see on facebook that Chelsea has pneumonia?...

Poor baby...regardless I hope she's feeling better...that takes a bit to recuperate from...

What a glorious present!

Another belated Happy Birthday here!

Hope you had a great one!! Aurora is beautiful! :goodvibes

Thank you, Amy! I did have a lovely birthday and thoroughly enjoyed my gifts -- especially Aurora!

what a sweet present! I bet it was hard for her to keep that secret while she was restoring it.:goodvibes
Moms are the best.

I don't know how my mom managed to stay mum -- I am horrible about keeping secrets!

Aw I have not been on much this week & went to look at your last update but cannot see any of your pics:confused3 Happy belated Birthday!! Hope it was a good one. Love the doll!!

My photobucket bandwidth was exceeded until November 11, but the photos are back now!

Thank you! I did have a great birthday.

Happy Belated! Your mom is so sweet. :)

Thank you! My mom is pretty awesome! :goodvibes

Happy Belated B-day!

What a wonderful doll and an even more wonderful amount of effort, thought and energy your mom put into it. Those are some big boots to fill.

Would love to see some pics of your other dolls.

Thanks, Diamond! My mom rocks when it comes to finding the perfect dolls.

Maybe I can show off some of my Disney dolls on my PTR! :thumbsup2

The doll is beautiful. I love that your mom was so excited about restoring it for you. I love that the gift of a doll brings us right back to being a little girl too.

Thank you! I am such a little girl still when it comes to dolls. :goodvibes

Happy Belated Birthday!!! Love the doll from your mom! So sweet!

Thank you! I was beyond excited when I opened my birthday present.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe I missed it...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Thank you, Katie! I have always loved Sleeping Beauty, but then I am partial to all the princesses for various reasons.

How precious!!!

It was a little more violent than I remembered.

My photobucket bandwidth was exceeded for about a week, but I opened a new account for my birthday pics.

I have lots of Madame Alexanders that my mom has given me over the years -- since I was itty bitty, actually. :goodvibes

Thanks, Jo! I know my mom just loves restoring dolls.

The doll is beautiful!!!

Thanks, Jen!

I hope Chelsea is having a restful evening. No wonder she didn't feel like trick or treating. I'm glad you got her on to the doctor, and I hope she will be feeling better very soon! :)

Thank you, MeMom! I truly think that Chelsea had the flu last week, but the cough just never got better. When she started running a fever again on Sunday, I knew it was time to go to the doctor. The antibiotics are working slowly but surely, and hopefully my little girl will be back to her normal sparkly self soon. :goodvibes

Yep, that nasty cough was the beginning stages of pneumonia. Chelsea started running a fever again on Sunday, so I knew it was time to go to the doctor. I am glad we did and were able to get her started on antibiotics before it got worse. Scary stuff -- my kids have been sicker this fall than ever before -- they are usually so healthy all the time. :confused3

Oh my! Off to check your FB page!

Jill, thanks for your well wishes over on FB!

What a glorious present!

Thank you so much!

Uh oh, I missed a day on facebook. I'm off to check!

Thanks for all your well wishes over on FB -- it's been a rough week at the CP house -- I am so ready for the weekend, and then it's just one more week until Thanksgiving break.

Oh, I except birthday wishes all month. :lmao:

Good, because I'm late too!

:yay: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACKIE!!! :yay:

It sounds like you had a great birthday - and the doll is really beautiful! I love how your mom labored over her as well, it holds so much meaning! I also thought of Toy Story when reading it all. :goodvibes

And that is awful to hear about Chelsea! I hope she returns to her normal self soon and that no one in house catches any more bugs!

I hope you have a very quiet, peaceful, and sick-free Thanksgiving holiday.

Do you guys get the whole week? We did last year, which is why we were able to take the WDW trip, but this year they went back to three days and gave us the fall break week. I'd like for them to alternate that, because we really enjoyed going for Thanksgiving. We got to eat Thanksgiving dinner with Mickey, saw some Christmas stuff (O Lights and CP), and then still had Christmas to look forward to when we got home. I liked that arrangement.

It's good to hear Chelsea is getting back to normal. She's too sweet to be sick. And I'm sure Connor misses fighting with her, since she probably hasn't had the energy to do much of that lately. :)

I always think of my mom and how she loves to restore dolls when I see that part of Toy Story.

I hope so, too. I am ready for us all to be healthy for awhile.

We do get the whole week this year and next year. This is the first time we have gotten it so I am looking forward to that entire week. I would love to plan our trip for Thanksgiving week next year, but Charles doesn't have the nerve to miss the holiday with his family. :confused3

Connor does miss his sister being 100% and able to argue.

Glad to hear things are on the mend! Wow a week at Thanksgiving!!! We get three days, but a week would be nice!

Looking forward to you next update!!! :surfweb:

Wow, a whole week would be great. That would for sure mean, a turkey dinner with Mickey for us. We have only ever had 3 days at Thanksgiving.

They gave us a week last year for the first time ever. A Thanksgiving Disney trip was perfect. We got to see a lot of the holiday stuff, had a great Thanksgiving Day meal with Mickey, and then came home ready to get into the Christmas spirit in a big way.

This year, we only get three days, but they added that fall break.

You know what I want?

I want the full week fall break

and

the full week at Thanksgiving. :thumbsup2

Oh yeah, and Groundhog Day, a week in spring, another week for Easter, two weeks at Christmas, a holiday for every president's birthday (that's over 40 days off right there! :woohoo:) and, of course, a few snow days....

That would be a good school calendar. :)

I think your plan is workable if we start the Tuesday after Labor Day and finish the Friday before! :cool1::rotfl2::rotfl::happytv:
