Shades of Green (Magical Express)??

I was wanting to know if anyone can tell me if I can use the new
Disney's Magical Express if I stay at the SOG in October.
Also any other details about the hotel.
My daughter is Air Force Reserve Staff Sergent what is this E1 E4.
Trying to figure out what the rate would be.
I have an AP she thinks that SOG will be a better rate.
Any Information greatly needed.

If your daughter is SSgt, that's E-5, I'm not sure if the rate is $97 or $107 for that rank.

I don't think that SoG is part of Magical Express, since it isn't Disney resort, but you should call and check just to be sure.

If your dates are sold out at SoG, you can check for overflow rates, and go from there. Whether or not they are better than AP rates really isn't known, since AP rates aren't guaranteed to even be available.

Shades of Green will not be serviced by the Magical Express.

While Magical Express is not available they offer a similar service called BAGS (I think). I believe they charge $40.00 for it though.

E1 and E4 refer to military pay grades; your daughter could get a standard room for $76.00 and poolside room for $86.00. She should be able to book up to 3 rooms for herself and others (but she must stay there the whole time).

Allearsnet.com has links to all the resorts including SOG with lots of info and pics. It used to be a Deluxe Disney Resort but is now rented to the military. There is also an official website and other sites that have useful info; just search for Shades of Green. I hear it is an unbeatable value (you get almost all the perks you would at a Disney resort) and the property is said to be lovely. I'm planning on investigating all of this for myself in early December.

Be aware that the resort books up EARLY (10 months in advance sometimes). If you're going during an off-peak time though it's not as difficult.
