Shades of Green and Photopass

My two sons and partners are staying at All Star Sports and I have purchased a photopass for them. I, however, am staying at the Shades of Green. Can I link the photopass so that I can use it as well? I know I won't have a Magic Band but hoping that I could use a photopass card.

If you're connected to them on My Disney Experience, your photos should show up in their app, and they can get them for you. Also get a magic band! The basic ones are pretty cheap and its still useful, even if you can't unlock your room with it!

Thanks Trevler. I actually have a magic band from a few years ago, and we are all linked on MDE. So it sounds like I can have it activated and use for park admission and photopass?

Yup! Just make sure its active in My Disney Experience. (And the batteries aren't dead.)

How old is that Magic Band? After a few years it won’t work for long distance - to get a ride photo I think you have to tap it after the ride.

Tapping it will still work. But there’s a ride video or two that you can’t tap for, so the OP won’t get that if she rides alone and the band’s long distance battery is dead.
