Sex Ed robot Baby in he House - lol!

That doesn't seem very fair, it doesn't teach the boys anything.

I forget what class the pg bellies are for. But in 9th grade health everyone is given an extensive, visual lesson on STD's. DS(17) says that was enough for him, he still can't get those pics out of his head. Everyone also has to give an oral report on an STD.

Our high school has it's own daycare for teen parents so they can stay in school. How many schools do that?

And that's my point. Please don't be offended and just take this in the context that I mean... but I'm assuming you're still gonna have sex.

I don't feel this makes kids abstain from sex. It makes them not want children. And those are two entirely different things.

For a lot of the kids it DOES make them abstain or at least be a LOT more careful about having sex.

My son's 16 and hasn't had to have the 'baby'. I'm wondering if his school even does it. But...that's okay. Son DOES NOT want children. :thumbsup2

Our school doesn't do this but I wish they did. It's a great program. :thumbsup2

Man, I was lucky. Back in my day, we only had to care for eggs. :thumbsup2

Hahaha! Ditto.... We had a hard boiled egg to watch for a week...

You got off easy! Ours were empty eggs!!!

DH also had the eggs back in high school (late 1980's) and he went and "kidnapped" his best friend's egg (conveniently called "Eggbert", lol).

I was 2 years behind him and when it was my class's turn we had a choice of a sack of potatoes or a doll. My friend's mother had a Cabbage Patch doll (back when they were popular) and let me borrow it. I called him "Andy". DH and I were dating back then and he wanted to name the Cabbage Patch doll after him. Ok, fast forward 15 years later (2002). DH and I are married (3 years into our marriage) and lo and behold we have a son who'se first name is after his father and his middle name is "Andrew". We had completely forgotten about the Cabbage Patch doll until a few years after our son was born, so this was completely unintentional.
