~~~SEWING my way to POFQ ~ American Girl outfits & Custom Park Bags! ~~~
ACK!!!! You all are just a bunch of teases. Just wait, one of you might end up shipping me a machine yet - I'll be checking the CL in your areas. :rotfl2:
Ok - one question though... about the shoes.... my feet swell like balloons when I fly - that's why the girls and I always wear flips. In cases like this, do you still recommend tennis shoes on the plane??? :rotfl2:
OK and something else... One of the guys I work with - well today was his last day... and he makes the most fabulous cream cheese bars (NUM) (DOUBLE NUM) - and I am really going to miss him (his bars) a lot - so, today he had to bring a (large) pan of these bars in to share with everyone... the problem is that I couldn't keep my blasted fingers out of them. UGH!!!! Not only that, but he gave out the recipe, and I bought all the ingredients on it... MUST RESIST MAKING THE BARS.... :rolleyes1
Several comments:
1. If you find a super machine in the DC area, I'd be happy to look at it for you. I saw at least two of them listed on our local Craigslist this week.
2. Take off your sneakers when you get on the plane. Put them back on (tied more loosely) when you get off.
3. I think you need to post that recipe! It sounds delicious and perfect for our dairy dinner for Yom Kippur in two weeks.
OK, please forgive me asking a question you probably answered at some point...
How much do you sell the outfits for? and where do you sell them?
Thanks!!
I will think about this... Honestly, if it wasn't for winter - I'd wear my flipflops all year round. :rotfl2:
I agree with Diane you need to share the recipe.
Alrighty then... You'll have to give me a few minutes though - I am in the process of uploading #42 & #41. :thumbsup2
Welcome! I am so glad you've found my PTR! Because of the rules on The Dis, I am not allowed to mention the site where I sell my items. :wizard: But I would love it if you would continue to follow along in my PTR! :lovestruc
This is one I've never done before... my customer requested it - it was a lot of fun to design, but I am glad it's done, the applique was much harder than I anticipated.
ROFL... Can you believe I am speechless? I don't think that's ever happened. I love it! Thank you, thank you very much.
Oh and thank you for the compliments on my 2 latest outfits... and stay away from the Cream Cheese Bars - they taste horrible - honest.
Once again, it looks super!
Thank you. Seriously - the bars are horrible - make and eat them at your own risk. LOL
Fabulous as usual! I really like your fabric choices in these outfits -- I love the bold colors.
I actually got some sewing done yesterday too. I'm making patchwork skirts and it's a bit time consuming with appliques and trim, but I'm plugging along.
You are going to share that popcorn with the rest of us, aren't you?
I always share with my friends :goodvibes
Can't wait to see your next designs
Your list looks good but I usually pack a few pairs of unmentionables just in case. I agree with Lisa that you should wear your tennis shoes. I also agree with Marianne that they are a pain at security but I would not want to be barefoot going thru security. I'm figuring that you will be at the airport with plenty of time to spare so you will have time to untie you shoes, find a chair at security after you get through and put them back on. Plus, I'm guessing your girls are old enough to tie their own shoes and help get your "stuff" off the belt.
:banana::banana::banana: Just think how much more walking you will be able to do when you get your new shoes.
D~ my feet swell too, but my feet also get really cold on the plane so I just loosen up my laces and am okay!
LOVE the new outfits! you just keeping amazing us all!!
look what Megan got today from our sweet D~
Thank you D~ Megan LOVES IT!!!
sending you a PM!
Awww... So glad you got it and it's so cute on Megan's Stephanie! I hope it's what she wanted, I tried to keep it simple, but you know me... Lol.
D~ is still brrrr freezin' at the lake. We managed to get the wet bikes out yesterday, and Josh was a wonderful man, he took us fishing last night. Our last hoorah in the boat before we pull it today. A got a nice northern, i'll try to post a pic when we get home. All of us caught fish, except for Josh, he is always so busy being our guide (baiting hooks and taking our catches off) that he barely gets to have his line in the water.
Anyways, we have to pull the boat out this morning, and head for home after lunch.
I woke up this morning with some cute outfit ideas in my head, so i am a bit anxious to get back to Patience. :)
I think I'm a few outfits behind in commenting, but amazing, amazing, amazing. I really like the Mickey wear for Megan.
Glad you caught dinner when you were ice fishing. It's been YEARS since I've had fish off the hook.
I just got a PM from Andrea telling me to stop writing, so you could stop reading and get back to sewing.
:upsidedow Me <----- who always obeys
