~ Sew Sweet 16 ~I’m packing your angry eyes just in case~Aug 2014~ BFF' bag 8/20!!!!

Hi all hope you all are doing well. Just stopped by for a question. If MK is staying open until midnight on a sat ,will they still have the fireworks and dessert party? How does that work, still at 9 then or later? thanks for any answers.......:)

99.9% of the time (which translates to I have never seen it other wise but that doesn't mean they can't change it...)the fireworks are generally at the same time with just a longer opening after the fireworks.

That does change for special occasions...like New Years Eve and sometimes for 4th of July...

The new truck looks great! We finally traded in out suburban with 250,000+ miles on it last year. I was sooooo relieved that Mr. Incredible wasn't driving around that death trap any more. It was built like a tank but was constantly breaking down.

I can't believe you ADRs are almost up! Time just flies! Can't wait to see what you guys choose!

Thanks! Yes, it is such a relief to have him driving something a little more dependable - I definately worry less.

I know - I cannot believe that it's almost ADR time for us too... Gonna have to wait until the end of the month to reveal them all though, so I don't give away our actual dates. I didn't think of that before I instituted this "no giving out of our dates" rule. LOL

Congratulations on the success with your weight, measurements, and healthy lifestyle! Go you!

Thank you, I've found that it really isn't that hard for me anymore. I truly enjoy eating Primally and I find that I don't crave any of the foods that used to control me. I really feel like I've found the key to my own success.

Hopefully the irritation will go away after the first week or so and Josh's mood will improve? Kind of like they say the craving for sugar goes away?

I hope so too... He is still smoking. Sigh. But he has cut waaaay back. He has an appointment with his Dr. tomorrow, so hopefully he will have some wise words to help him out. I feel like he needs to just do it cold turkey - but I just don't know if he will be able to?

I try to make a variety of meals which is chaos and my kids almost never eat what I make. It's so frustrating. I started a treat system with TJ for eating dinner at night and it was working, but then his teachers suggested not using a reward system so I stopped and yea now we are back to bad habits. I guess it's time to reinstate that plan!

Yes, I agree - I don't think there is anything wrong with giving the occasional treat.

HELLO!!!

First your dad is just ADORABLE! he has the best and most infectious smile!!!

Let me know if you want one of the pictures to hang on his wall?

So proud of you and your journey of eating healthy. Yesterday was not a good day for me and eating..

I do like the new truck.. It is really nice!!! It is going to save you from worrying then it's a great buy.

Thank you - I just love him!

I do know which pictures I want, but I didn't tell you which ones yet...

Thank you... I know you can do it too!!! It just takes the right frame of mind to get started, after that - it will just become second nature. YOu know I am cheering you on!

Yes - it's nice to have the new truck... It's not really new... but... Better than what we had, so that's good.

you are doing fabulous. I am so very happy for you.

G and I do not go grocery shopping together it just isn't a good thing

Also he is able to eat crap and I am not.

Good luck with lifting this week.

Thank you Chiara - you inspire me every day!

LOL - I am beginning to see that... I don't think I will ever take Josh with me again. Exactly! Josh eats everything, and he gets annoyed that I don't. Grrrr....

Thank you... I didn't lift well yesterday... I didn't start my Stage 3 like I had planned... I looked it over and it just didn't look like what I wanted to do? LOL So, I just did my own thing... Maybe Thursday...

Hi! So glad you had a wonderful weekend with your Dad! And congratulations on the weight loss for January, I know how hard that is to do.

Thank you... I was expecting a size loss - but I certainly wasn't expecting a scale loss too... I was actually expecting a gain from all the lifting I've been doing.

I wish I flew out this Tuesday but my trip is still 5 days away. I leave this coming Saturday the 8th. I've got everything laid out for the trip, just needs to go into my suitcase. Oh and I need to pack for the dogs as they will be going to the "doggie spa" for two nights while Jim joins us. I just need to get through this next week at work and it will be time to go! At least it's supposed to be in the 50s here all week so I don't have to deal with any snow.

OK - so your ticker is right... LOL Some of the tickers I've been seeing lately seem to be off... Maybe I am the one who is off? LOL

I hope everything goes smoothly for you this week.

Ok I'm back. I got back last night, but was so tired (and I'm still tired) from the trip that I didn't go on the DIS to read and reply to your PTR. We had no snowfall on the way back home but for a mile or so after crossing the boarder from Finland to Norway it was windy so it was so much snow in the air that we didn't see a thing. We had to drive very slowly and all I was thinking about was how much longer it was until we started to drive down from the mountain. Because I knew that when we started to go down the mountain the wind would be that strong because of the mountain side. We got down safe and didn't come home that late. I thought we would come home later because of the snow and that we had to drive so slowly.

Oh WOW! So relieved you made it home safely - how scary!!!

You asked me when winter ends here. Well where I live we say that spring comes in May. We have to change the tires on our cars from winter tires to summer tiers on 15th of May. BUT if the weather says otherwise we can wait without getting a fine until the snow is gone from the roads and it's safe to drive on summer tires. Often (not every year but often enough) we can have no snowfall in early May and everyone thinks that spring is here and we can change tires but then on 16th of May (I know the date because it's the day before our National day) we get so much snow that it's not safe to drive without winter tires. Sorry for the long reply on that question.

I totally understand! We never put winter tires on our cars - but BFF does... She likes to have them off mid-April, which is usually pretty safe for us, but she usually has them on until July. LOL Because she is too busy to have them swapped.

It's a shame that the church wasn't there for your dad when he was sick. It was nice that you got to spend some time with him last weekend and manage to empty the garage.

I agree - I am still so annoyed by it.

I was very happy to spend some time with him. :lovestruc

Congratulation with the new car. I can understand that Josh got a 4x4. You have to have that in the winter.

Thanks! Yes, it is almost necessary to have one vehicle that's a 4x4.

Congratulation with the weight loss. It must feel great to lose that much weight. After seeing the extreme couponing on TV and seeing what kind of things they get for their coupons I can easily see that you can't use as many now that you have changed the way you eat. Which is a good thing

THanks... I still struggle with how I see myself a lot. I still feel like I have soooo far to go to reach some of my personal goals. I just keep pressing on and try very hard not to focus on how I look, but how I feel.

D you are AWESOME! Those weight loss numbers are amazing....I need some of your motivation. I did download that book, but haven't started it yet. I need to.

You go girl!

Thank you! I am glad you downloaded the book... It's a bit boring - even for me - and it's something I am following and am interested in. LOL There are a few chapters I had to skip all together. LOL

You mean this one?

I know you saw the results on Facebook but Jeremy did AMAZING for his first Pinewood Derby!!!! He won all his heats for his Tiger Den!!! Made it to the finals and won 1 out of 4 heats there!!! He couldn't have been happier!! He also got a trophy for winning his Den heats!!

Great job on the weight loss and inches lost!!

Glad you got everything at your Dad's and you were able to take him out for a little while!! Sorry to hear his church wasn't very involved in him all of a sudden going "missing". He does look happy being out!!

That's great Josh got a new truck. But I know what you mean about DH making the money and even though it's both of yours (regardless of who makes it) I would never be able to just go out and spend that much on a single purchase without discussing it with him. Even when we do our vacations even though I do all the planning I talk to DH before booking (unless I can get back 100% of the deposit if something happens).

Thank you!! Hope your son had a great time at his Pinewood Derby!! Jeremy was very proud of his car (and so was daddy!!)

THank you Sandra!

I just love those pictures, and I had to comment on them everywhere you posted! LOL

Congratulations to Jeremy - he did great!

**********************************************************

I had a really great sewing room day yesterday. I didn't think I would finish last week's custom order - but I did. WHOOT!

I started on a few little side projects yesterday afternoon - which I intend to finish up this morning.

Then I will start on the custom order I've had on my back burner for far too long. My friend has been soooo patient waiting for me to clear up everything I had going on with my Dad. :lovestruc I hope to make a huge dent in this order this week - and hopefully finish it.

I didn't start my heavy lifting Stage 3 yesterday. I am a bit disappointed in myself. I had planned on it, but then I read it over, and I just didn't feel like it. I am a firm believer that I have to WANT to do what I am doing to work out - if I don't enjoy it, then it's just not worth it to me. I do enjoy my heavy lifting a lot - but my heart just wasn't in it at all yesterday. Sigh. So, hopefully my heart will be in it on Thursday. So, rather than doing my scheduled heavy lift - I just did my own thing... It was OK, but I don't feel like I worked myself hard enough. However - I am a bit sore this morning, so maybe I did afterall?

Also, I am either a) going to have to invest in a squat rack. Or b) join a gym. As I can no longer clean n' press the weight I can squat. I didn't think that this point would come so quickly, as it was, I had to pull 10lbs off my bar just to get my squats in yesterday. I don't have room anywhere in our house for a squat rack, and I have no desire to join a gym... As the closest gym is 25 miles away, and I can barely make it into my office to lift as it is - there is no way I'd be able to stick with this if I had to drive on top of it all. So, I guess I will just stay stalled out and continue to try to press ahead. Maybe I can rig up something to help me?

As I mentioned yesterday, my eating is going very well... I just LOVE some of the foods I've been eating! Some of my favorites... Sweet potato skillet (diced sweet potato and onion fried in coconut oil, on top of a bed of sausage and topped with sunny side up eggs - NUM)... I also love fresh berries and home-made roasted almonds topped with heavy cream... Mmmm... I've found, the easiest way to curb my wheat/sugar cravings is to eat high fat... And boy does it taste GOOD! Love it!

Disney related.... Now that I have really changed my eating habits, I am a bit nervous about how I am going to eat in WDW. Many of my favorites are no longer an option for me... Freedom Pasta (my favorite) is no longer an option. So sad. I've been trying to look over menus, and it's looking pretty bleak. No more beignets... Or Mealie Pap. Clearly - it's Disney, and calories don't count on vacation... but I am convinced that I do have some sort of wheat allergy - and even though it's mild - I don't want to eat too much of it while we are there, as I am afraid it will create some havok on my system. But - I can have omlettes, and eggs and sausage/bacon, fruits and veggies of all sorts... So there is LOTS of stuff I can have. I do intend to look over more of the menus... Honestly - I think the hardest place to eat will be our resort. :headache: So, don't be surprised if you see me on here trying to hammer out menus and what I can eat. :hippie:

Alright - I better get moving on my day... I have lots of FUN things on my schedule and I cannot wait to get to them. I must work out first though.

Sending out prayers to all my Dis-friends today... Especially Kathy's (KatMark) son Mark - he had surgery yesterday and is recovering... And I have lots of Dis-friends traveling to WDW this week too... Lois... Ariana...

Have a great day all!

D~

Hi D~! This will be my last post for a whie since we will be on the plane at this time tomorrow. Our trip almost got cancelled Saturday.:crazy2: Emily called and said she and Charlotte had a relapse of the flu. Charlotte had gone to school on Thursday, but threw up that night and still wasn't eating. But we did facetime on Sunday and Charlotte was bouncing around her room, excited about her new Frozen themed room decals. And she's eating again. So it's a go. If we had to postpone, we were seriously thinking about trying to be there when you and the girls are there so we could meet up. That would have been fun!!!:cheer2:

Your Daddy just sparkles! It is so great to see him looking so very happy. Must make you feel so good. I'm glad you were able to get everything done at your Dad's old place. And I'm glad he is able to see the bright side of his church's big fail and not dwell on it. I just bought another card for him yesterday, so will try and get it in the mail today.

Congrats on the weight loss. The most important thing is how much better you feel, but it sure is nice to get that added bonus! I'm so happy for you and proud of you for sticking to it, even with all the stress you've been under. Keep that up and you'll earn your Super D~ status with all the perks that brings. Just as Super Mo.:rotfl2:

Kathy, so sorry about your son's surgery. Will add him to my prayers.

Suzi, :dance3:New Ticker!!!!:dance3:

Well, gotta get to packing and all the last minute things on my list. We're supposed to get 6 to 12 inches of snow this afternoon. Hoping it won't affect our flight tomorrow morning. :scared1: Have a great week and if I get a chance, I'll check in while I'm down there. :beach:

Sandra, forgot to say what a cute pic of the baby!!! And yay for the success of the pinewood derby!!!

And D~, we posted at the same time, but I wanted to say that my dr said to try to do 80/20 as far as my eating. 80% of the time stick to it and the other 20 is for those times it's just not practical. I did pretty well last September sticking to my restrictions. It's a little bit hard since it doesn't make me ill to eat gluten or dairy, but has long reaching effects on my joints. I'll let you know how I do and maybe give you some tips on good meals when I get back. Thanks for the well wishes!

Seemed to be the weekend for grocery shopping with spouses. Usually Cale does the shopping because I work so often on the weekend. His usual shopping schedule was off because of the weather so I got to go with him. I do not do grocery shopping well with others. I become zombie woman (and it didn't help this weekend that I worked really late Saturday for our annual fundraiser) he nearly lost me at least twice as I became distracted by something and he moved on. At the start of the trip he sent me to get toothpaste and it took me so long to decide which kind (his fault - I use a sensitive tooth kind and he needed his plain ol' Crest) he didn't let me get anything else on my own. :lmao:

Glad your weekend was good.

I need to find my self control again. The first time I seriously lost weight I didn't eat practically any carbs and walked everyday. I was also in a crap job so I was permanently angry, which gave me motivation.

I find that if I stop eating sugar, when I try again, it's really too sweet. Like this week I had more soda than I have had in a month of Sundays and after black coffee and water, it was like drinking syrup.

I did do a 2 hour walk in the snow last week. A couple of friends didn't make it home and we went to check on their dogs for them. It's weird walking around roads that you usually drive on...completely different perspective.

As to how little snow it was to grind the south to a halt, I can't say anything about Atlanta, but for the days leading up to the weather all our forecasts were for a "light dusting." And then it dropped 2 inches in about 5 hours. We don't have any salt trucks really and the roadways were so crowded with everybody who had to pick up their kids or trying to get home from work that the sanders couldn't even get through. And we're in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains - there's no such thing as a straight, level road.

Here's to Josh getting past the grouchy stage of dropping a habit, Alli realizing that even vegetarians need real food for thought, your Dad's church remembering that they are a church, and to you conquering your next step in exercise.

I have to say this first - I AM SICK OF SNOW!!!!! We got 8+ inches yesterday and I ended up taking a vacation day. UGH! Tonight we are expecting an ice storm and I've already signed out for tomorrow. (another vacation day, unless the county decides to close our office). Then the weather people are predicting a Nor-easter for this weekend - about 3 FEET of snow if the predictions are correct.

Secondly, I forgot to mention that Kat underwent surgery this morning to remove the rest of her colon. This was scheduled about a month ago and is the next step in reconstructing her colon. I don't have an update at this point, so prayers please, if you are so inclined.

She will have another surgery for the final reconstruction, but I don't know when that is right now.

I'm busy making new t-shirts for our trip in March. One done and one to go, but I need to buy a new shirt for me, first. My bag is done, just need to get a picture of it.

D., I had to laugh at your story of Josh and his new truck. Sounds like something my husband has done in the past. Like tell me to watch my spending - to keep an eye on the checking account - :confused3 WHY? "Gee, I don't go out spending $$...I just pay the bills." Well about 2 weeks later I get home from work (before I retired) and here he is looking at his brand new $4,000 camera and external flash unit!!!!! Right watch the checking account.:lmao:
Sheila

D when you go to the resturaunt talk to your server. They generally can offer you healthier options.

When I was doing really well a few years back I was able to substitute veggies or a salad for the starch. They are accommodating. I will give you an update at the end of February and in April when we are there longer.

I understand your nerves about vacation food choices but the fact that you are being proactive about it and planning it now is the best chance for success.

He is so precious..

awww babies!!! I wish someone in my family would have one!!! i need to spoil a BABY!!!!

Thank you! It is fun to spoil them!!!

I just love those pictures, and I had to comment on them everywhere you posted! LOL

Congratulations to Jeremy - he did great!

It is hard to not comment on cute baby pics. :lovestruc

He did and was so happy about it!!

Great job getting your order done!! Hope you are able to get started on your next one.

As for the lifting think of it this way. Doing something is better than nothing.

I don't think I've shared anything with the gestational diabetes since I've had Baby Jeffrey. They took a fasting number the next day and everything came back normal. :cool1: I've also lost 19 lbs since I've had the baby!!! I came home from the hospital and weighed myself and had lost 9 lbs just from having him and since then I've lost another 10 lbs!! I've been keeping up the good eating habits and plan on doing so. I do have to go in for another glucose test at the end of the month but figure as long as I stay on the path I've been doing I should still be fine. I'll let you know what happens with those results after March 4 (the day of my 6 week check up).

Sandra, forgot to say what a cute pic of the baby!!! And yay for the success of the pinewood derby!!!!

Thank you!!

Oh Lois~!!!! Have a fantastic trip! Please enjoy every moment with Charlotte - these memories will last forever! I cannot wait to hear all about it when you get back!

I am glad that Charlotte is feeling better and you didn't have to cancel your trip... However, I would have loved to have met you in August. :thumbsup2

Your Daddy just sparkles! It is so great to see him looking so very happy. Must make you feel so good. I'm glad you were able to get everything done at your Dad's old place. It is so wonderful - I couldn't be happier. It was a relief to get everything done. I am still so sad for him about his church, but at least he is not letting it bother him.

Congrats on the weight loss. The most important thing is how much better you feel, but it sure is nice to get that added bonus! You are right... I just keeep chugging along. And yes, I do feel so much better - a totally different person. I cannot wait to earn a cape like Mo's! ::yes::

Praying that you were able to get everything done... that the snow didn't delay your travel and you are on your way to see Mr. Mouse at this very moment. :beach:

Sandra, forgot to say what a cute pic of the baby!!! And yay for the success of the pinewood derby!!!

I totally agree with this... It's been going so well lately - that 90/10 has been very easy for me to maintain... but - I am sure when I am in Disney - it will all go out the window. I hope not... but... It's Disney. I am anxious to hear all of your tips and tricks to see how you do... and if you find any really nummy foods.

Hahaha... Well - I give you an A+ for effort. :thumbsup2 And glad you were able to get groceries...

Finding motivation/self-control is the hardest part - to me anyways. As long as I have that, I could go on forever. To be quite honest - this is almost the longest my self control has ever lasted... I think it's partially because I am continually trying to make changes and bend things to fit the way I like them to be... If that makes any sense? I just love this way of eating, and for the first time in my life - I am not consumed with endless hunger - I finally know what it feels like to be satisfied... According to the research I've read, this is due to the high protein/fat combo. I'll take it - that's for sure.

I did do a 2 hour walk in the snow last week. A couple of friends didn't make it home and we went to check on their dogs for them. It's weird walking around roads that you usually drive on...completely different perspective.

I am VERY anxious for the weather to start to turn, so I can get outiside and walk again. I am ready to feel the sun on my pasty face, and feel my muscles move in different ways... Just another month...

I totally understand this... I realize there isn't the equiptment in the south to allow for the clearing of the snow, it baffles me - but I understand. It seems like everyone is recovering well though?

Here's to Josh getting past the grouchy stage of dropping a habit, Alli realizing that even vegetarians need real food for thought, your Dad's church remembering that they are a church, and to you conquering your next step in exercise.

Thank you Ruth.

I have to say this first - I AM SICK OF SNOW!!!!! We got 8+ inches yesterday and I ended up taking a vacation day. UGH! Tonight we are expecting an ice storm and I've already signed out for tomorrow. Hahaha... I am sick of it too... Just ONE more month... :scared: I cannot believe how much snow you are getting though - that is INSANE! 3 FEET... GULP! Stay safe Tess. :grouphug:

Secondly, I forgot to mention that Kat underwent surgery this morning to remove the rest of her colon. This was scheduled about a month ago and is the next step in reconstructing her colon. I don't have an update at this point, so prayers please, if you are so inclined.

Sheila

Hahaha... Yup - this does sound a little similar... :mic:

I hope you find something good on the menus at WDW that you can eat

Thank you Lillian, I am sure I will be able to. The biggest issue I am finding, is a lot of our TS meals are character meals - and most of those are buffets... So, the listing of what is actually there is pretty vague. Thankfully - 2 of them are breakfasts, so I know they will have eggs/bacon/sausage... I'll just load up on that. ::yes::

D when you go to the resturaunt talk to your server. They generally can offer you healthier options.

When I was doing really well a few years back I was able to substitute veggies or a salad for the starch. They are accommodating. I will give you an update at the end of February and in April when we are there longer.

This is good to know. And I look forward to your updates. It's going to be an interesting trip for us - that's for sure... We will have Alli who is a vegetarian, Olivia who is allergic to eggs, and me who can't have wheat or sugar. :scared: I don't envy that server at all.

I understand your nerves about vacation food choices but the fact that you are being proactive about it and planning it now is the best chance for success.

Thanks Sandra! Look at you - that is awesome! I am so proud of you, and I am so happy that your bloodwork is back to normal. I am also happy to hear that you are continuing on this journey, you did so well while you were pregnant, I have no doubt that you will continue to do so. :thumbsup2

**********************************************************

I had a really good day yesterday... The bag is done, but I am still working on a few odds n' ends for it. ::yes::

On the side - I started cutting out my next order... I have it up there and ready to start quilting.

I had to work on a few items on my embroidery machine yesterday too... So that's always a fun/interesting addition to my days. :scratchin

In the end, I finished up a bunch of little projects that have been on my plate for quite some time. It felt really good.

I have to work at Target today - they scheduled me for a really ODD shift... I have to be there 2 hours EARLIER than normal... Which really cuts into my morning Dis and work out time. As it is, I have to hop into the shower right now, and I am skipping my work out. I sure hope they don't decide to do this to me all the time. :scared:

I hope you all have a fantastic day... Lois - I wish you safe travels. Prayers for Kat and Kathy's son Mark (and everyone else)... :grouphug:

Good luck at Target! We are in the midst of another snow/ice storm!

Well, our flight was cancelled due to weather in Atlanta! We got about 4 inches of snow overnight, but that's nothing. A very nice young lady got us booked on a direct flight to Orlando that leaves at 11:20 or so. We'll only be about an hour and a half behind schedule. However....it is sleeting outside right now and I'm wondering if our flight will be cancelled due to OUR weather now. Our bags are already checked in and being held for us at the airport, so hear's hoping we'll still get off the ground. It's a bit disappointing, but I believe God has us where we are supposed to be. And with all that Tess, Jim, Kat and Mark have gone through recently, I'd say I'm pretty blessed! it helps to keep a proper perspective about things, right?

Tess, thanks for the update on Kat. I was wondering how she was doing and how the reconstruction was going. I didn't realize it entailed more than one surgery. She's back on my prayer list for sure.

Sandra, GREAT news about the diabetes and the wt loss. You go girl!!

D~, thanks so much for the prayers for our flights and trip. It really means a lot to me. I hope your day at Target goes well and you continue to get lots done in your sewing room. Isn't it fun to play with the embroidery machine? I'll keep you posted on our continuing efforts to get to Orlando and our favorite Mouse.

Can't wait to see the new bag you made...:rolleyes1

This snow today has me in a bad mood. I don't know why today did it. But it did. I am SO FED up with it now. enough is enough like some weird joke laughing at us now.. tired of going 15 on the expressways watching cars just spin for no reason but traction.
Sorry. Snow is the villain.

Good luck at Target hope you have a wonderful day! :flower3:

I can only imagine!

When we lived in Germany it snowed every single day...but I loved it! Here, they start talking about snow and I start having panic attacks! Luckily we don't have snow very often...and it is not because I don't know how to drive in it or any of the other things people from the north think of when they put snow and Georgia in the same sentence... It is true panic...I am going to be stuck in this stupid house for NO REASON!

Thinking warm thoughts for you...

I hope you have a good day at Target. Some weeks I work a different shift each day. It's very confusing. Thank goodness our schedules are posted on line.
We're having another winter storm today so I'm stuck in the house until I go out and snow blow the driveway.
I'm glad your day was productive and you got a lot done with your projects.

D, I'm just checking in. You know why I've not been here every day, but I have been following along.

Glad you got your last custom bag done and that you are getting to start on other things.

I hope work at Target was good.

I hope you are SAFE with all this nasty snow again.

Hey D and all. First off a huge thank you for the thoughts and prayers after the passing of my Mom. Much much appreciated. One of those deals where it truly was a blessing. Knowing that she is no longer in any pain, is very comforting. So thank you to you all. I just love our little Disney family on the boards.

Also, my quick trip to Orlando, sadly, is over. My conference went well and I got a whole day of Disney in on Sunday and a couple evenings on Monday and Tuesday. I won't go into a ton of details, but, I'm pretty sure I fell in love with the Boardwalk area. Gonna have to rent some points for our next trip to stay there. The kids would love it!! Also, not to sure how much I like the Fastpass+... I stopped by a kiosk to check it out and didn't do any since I didn't ride much that needed Fastpassed. But, the kiosk lines were huge in more than one location. The smallest line was in Adventureland, but I would guess that the wait for them at the other kiosks were at least 30-45 minutes, if not more.

All in all, great time...as I sit in MCO, hoping my flight to Newark and then connecting flight to Des Moines stay on time....fingers crossed.

One last thing. I was actually a little undecided on Sunday what I wanted to do. Originally, I really wanted to do MK and possibly a tour, but wasn't sure how doing it solo would be. So I thought maybe to just resort hop at places we hadn't been yet and see which ones we might want to do. Well....Sunday morning, I decide to go to MK and to get there for rope drop. I had just bought my ticket from my hotel, Bonnet Creek Hilton-beautiful, but off of property...., and started to head to the shuttle and as soon as I got out of the hotel into the drive up area, I barely heard the music playing but paid no attention, until I recognized some of it....so I stopped to listen better. And it was what I first though it was....

To backtrack, Mom was sick for awhile, to where she didn't walk at all the past several years and even prior to that, she was in a wheel chair and would walk every now and then. For my wedding in 2001, I chose a song for our Mother-Son dance, called, "I hope you dance" by Leann Womack. And she did, and it was great. Soooo, it was this very song I heard as I walked to the shuttle. Hadn't heard it in years,....and lost it. Hadnt really done it yet, as I was in "game mode" getting all the arrangements made and taken care of so Dad didn't have to. I'm not much of religious person, but I was amazed at this timing....still gets me choked up just thinking about it again.

So thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers,

Mike
